sortable tree problem
Hello, I''m having a problem when I set the tree option to true on Sortable. If I set the option to false my remote call works fine, but once I set it to true, I get some weird log errors from Webrick... undefined method `update'' for "11":String /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/actionpack-1.12.1/lib/action_controller/cgi_ext/cgi_methods.rb:214:in `build_deep_hash''

[PATCH server] Update app to work with rails 2.3.2
Note that this does not fix gettext for app, that will be done separately in another patch as F10/F11 require different setups for that. In the meantime gettext works if manually changed in environment.rb to gettext_rails instead of gettext/rails Signed-off-by: Jason Guiditta <jason.guiditt at gmail.com> --- src/app/controllers/application.rb | 200 --------

sorting error "Error: item.id has no properties"
I''ve got some sorting working now, but when the page loads and when I drag, I keep getting this error: "Error: item.id has no properties" My <ul> and <li> elements all have ids. Do child elements all need ids? Here''s the code from dragdrop.js where the error is being thrown ( a few lines from the bottom of the file, line 501--HEAD version) serialize:

serialize()
Near the end of the Sortable.serialize() method, there is a split command that splits on an underscore. What is the convention it''s following here and is it documented somewhere? Thanks, Jamie serialize: function(element) { element = $(element); var sortableOptions = this.options(element); var options = Object.extend({ tag: sortableOptions.tag, only:

Logging to the server
I could never get the hang of logging to an area on the current page. Also, there are cases where I want to keep track of logged information. Fortunately, there''s a surprisingly simple alternative: logging to the server. Below is my first stab using prototype.js (of course) and Rails. Michael Logger = { loggingUrl: ''/myapp/admin/log'', debug: false, log:

[LLVMdev] LLVM 2.8 Source Code Visualisation
Hello my friends, I have put together some visualisations of the LLVM source code because I think it is great to see how much work has gone into LLVM to date. Double URL Encoding of multiple selects (or any array in toQueryParams)
Hello, It seems that if you call form.serialize on a multiple select, and it double url encodes the values... culprit seems to be (v.1.5.0) line 649/650. It calls encodeURIComponent twice. -jeff --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Spinoffs" group. Sortable Tree Modification
Hi, I''ve been working on a sortable tree modification. You can get what I have done so far here: http:// www.oriontransfer.co.nz/Sortable+List.zip Firstly, serialize needs work to support a tree structure. Secondly, I have not tested if it still works with lists property (I''m sure it would work fine, but I haven''t tested it). Finally, I need to merge this code
