[PATCH] Btrfs-progs: receive: fix the case that we can not find subvolume
If we change our default subvolume, btrfs receive will fail to find subvolume. To fix this problem, i have two ideas. 1.make btrfs snapshot ioctl support passing source subvolume''s objectid 2.when we want to using interval subvolume path, we mount it other place that use subvolume 5 as its default subvolume. We''d better use the second approach because it won''t bother

[PATCH] btrfs: rename the option to nospace_cache
Rename no_space_cache option to nospace_cache to be more consistent with the rest, where the simple prefix ''no'' is used to negate an option. The option has been introduced during the -rc1 cycle and there are has not been widely used, so it''s safe. [PATCH 0/3] Send: minor cleanups, add RO checks
First two patches are trivial cleanups that I''ve spotted while reading send.c, can be applied independently. The third patch contains the important bits, safety checks that the subvolumes involved in send do not accidentally lose the RO status. I haven''t seen this documented anywhere that this is mandatory, implied from how I assume send works. Please let me know if this is

[PATCH] btrfs: mask out gfp flasg in releasepage
btree_releasepage is a callback and can be passed unknown gfp flags and then they may end up in kmem_cache_alloc called from alloc_extent_state, slab allocator will BUG_ON when there is HIGHMEM or DMA32 flag set. This may happen when btrfs is mounted from a loop device, which masks out __GFP_IO flag. The check in try_release_extent_state 3399 if ((mask & GFP_NOFS) ==

[PATCH v2] Btrfs: return error when we specify wrong start to defrag
We need such a sanity check for wrong start when we defrag a file, otherwise, even with a wrong start that''s larger than file size, we can end up changing not only inode''s force compress flag but also FS''s incompat flags. [PATCH] btrfs: commit transaction after deleting a subvolume
Alex pointed out the consequences after a transaction is not committed when a subvolume is deleted, so in case of a crash before an actual commit happens will let the subvolume reappear. Original post: http://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-btrfs/msg22088.html Josef''s objections: http://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-btrfs/msg22256.html While there''s no need to do a full commit for

[PATCH] btrfs: accept zero for balance usage filter
The condition can be relaxed to accept also 0 which will delete unoccupied chunks and does not need space for the actual data relocation. Until there is an automatic empty chunk reclaim, we can use this as a last resort option under enospc. [PATCH] Allow cross subvolume reflinks (2nd attempt)
Hello, This is the second attempt to bring in cross subvolume reflinks into btrfs. The first attempt was NAKed due to missing vfs mount checks and a clear description of what btrfs subvolumes are and probably also why cross subvolume reflinks are ok in the case of btrfs. This version of the patch comes from David and is in SUSE kernels since a long time, so it is tested and working. The patch

[PATCH v4] Btrfs: Check INCOMPAT flags on remount and add helper function
In support of the recently added capability to remount with lzo compression, provide a helper function to check the compression INCOMPAT flags when remounting with lzo compression, and set the flags if necessary. Also, implement the new helper function when defragmenting with explicit lzo compression and when setting the default subvolume. Signed-off-by: Mitch Harder

[PATCH] btrfs-progs: make btrfs dev scan multi path aware
We should avoid using non multi-path (mp) path for mp disks As of now there is no good way (like api) to check that. A workaround way is to check if the O_EXCL open is unsuccessful. This is safe since otherwise the BTRFS_IOC_SCAN_DEV ioctl would fail if the disk-path can not be opened with the flag O_EXCL set. This patch also includes some (error) print format changes related to the btrfs

[PATCH 5/5] fstests/MAINTAINERS: add a co-maintainer for btrfs testing part
Darrick J. Wong would like to nominate Anand Jain to help more on btrfs testing part (tests/btrfs and common/btrfs). He would like to be a co-maintainer of btrfs part, will help to review and test fstests btrfs related patches, and I might merge from him if there's big patchset.
