GENERIC kern compile error 4.8-STABLE
GENERIC Kernel build failure just after stable-cvsup and buildworld.
I have ensured that everything in /usr/obj was deleted before i began.
Btw. /usr/obj <-- is a symlink to /Disk1/usrobj, because /usr partition
was filled up.
I have installed these packages from ports.

Hi people
I am new to Xen and having some trouble getting it up and running. I am
trying to install it on a Dell Poweredge SC420 that has CentOS (RHEL3

The error that I am getting when I first try to boot into the Xen
kernel, after having installed the binary and adding the necessary lines
to grub.conf is :

ServeRAID 4Lx - Plain 2.6.12.6 works - Xen not
Hi *,
I try to install Xen 3.0.0 on a IBM x342 with a ServeRAID 4Lx controller.
The box boots with "plain" 2.6.12.6 (aic7xx- and serveraid-support
included). It does not with a similar configuration of 2.6.12.6-xen0.
Any hints, boot options?

Adaptec SCSI Card 2930LP supported by CentOS 5.x?
Hi,
for a specific application we need a low-profile SCSI card (PCI) with
external 50pin connector. I thought about getting an "Adaptec SCSI Card
2930LP". However I was not able to find any usable information about
wether this card is supported by Linux/CentOS 5.x or not. Does anyone
have this card working with a CentOS 5.x machine?
Alternatively: Are there any linux-supported

bcc tools and bpftrace packages misbuilt?
After upgrading to 8.1.1911, bcc-tools and bpftrace seem to be broken.
Current package versions I have: bpftrace-0.9-3.el8.x86_64 and bcc-tools-0.8.0-4.el8.x86_64
Both of these seem to be pulling in LLVM version 7, rather than the version 8 that is in 8.1.1911:

Searching an Scsi Controller for CentOS 5
Hello,
does CentOs 5 supports an Adaptec AHA-2940W/2940UW scsi controller
(pci)? Is this controller maybe supported by the aic7xxx driver?
I want to install CentOS 5 on my desktop pc but the currently installed
pci scsi controller for my scanners (drivers: 2x tmscsim, 1x advansys)
are not supported by CentOS. So I am searching for something else.
Thanks in advanced.

[Release-testers] [3.9 Release] Release Candidate 1 has been tagged
Hi,
On the OpenMandriva side, x86_64 passes all checks. We're having some
problems with other architectures though (see below):
x86_64 succeeded, packages are here:
https://abf.openmandriva.org/build_lists/76792
i586 fails to build, but this seems to be an issue with 3.8.1 (which we're
using to build 3.9):
/usr/bin/clang++ -D_GNU_SOURCE -D__STDC_CONSTANT_MACROS
-D__STDC_FORMAT_MACROS

mysql errors
Since updating * via CVS earlier this week, I've been having problems
with cdr_mysql. Prior to that time my queries and cdr all worked fine.
Now, even though my queries still work, I get the messages similar to
this:
ERROR[1211374384]: cdr_addon_mysql.c:203 mysql_log: Failed to insert
into databas -- Hungup 'Zap/74-1'
Anyone have any suggestions what went wrong?
