Time synchronization issues in Samba 4
Hi, I configured my NTP server in samba 4 according to the article " https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Time_Synchronisation" however I verified that the NTP server does not respond to requests from Windows NTPv3 clients, it only responds to NTPv4. Following my ntp.conf: # /etc/ntp.conf, configuration for ntpd; see ntp.conf(5) for help driftfile /var/lib/ntp/ntp.drift # Enable this if

Time synchronization issues in Samba 4
I use systemd-timesyncd to sync time with the rest of the internet. Then, I use ntpd to allow my samba4 dc to share it's time with joined domain members. Most likely my ntpd.conf is horribly insecure and broken, but it's what I was able to figure out. /etc/ntpd.conf: # This bizarre rule makes ntp fall back to reading from the # bios clock if no network connection is available. server

Share periodical not accessible
Dear mailing list members, our Samba server provides several shares, one of them is sometimes (about one time a week) not accessible. The log (level 2) does not provide any hint where the problem could be located, quite contrary to the error message on the mac OS and Windows 10 client side (you have not the required rights), it tells that the authentication is succeeded. NTP Service Running on Local Host does not Sync System Time
Hi List I have ntp running as a service on a PC, with the expectation that it would keep time in synch to my ntp server. However, while I can manually update the time using "ntpdate -u ...", I find that if I manually force the wrong time, the ntpd service does not automatically re-synch the system time with the ntp server: - Current time: [admin at lol ~]# date Wed Jan 27 10:54:21

Basically, I have something like > t <- list(A=c(4,1,4),B=c(3,7,9,2)) > t $A [1] 4 1 4 $B [1] 3 7 9 2 And I would like to get something like the following: t levels 4 1 1 1 4 1 3 2 7 2 9 2 2 2 I tried unlist without success. I also do remember that there is a

64bit R for Mac
Dear R gurus, On the CRAN website, it says that a 64bit version for Mac OS Tiger would be release shortly. Do we know what are the expected dates? Will the packages be also compiled for 64bit? I saw that there is a version available on the development mirrors, but I am not too excited to replace our very stable

Analog phone help
I have 2 sip phones and an analog phone attached to a Digium USB fxs device. I would like the analog phone to ring when transfers are made to it, but I don't want it to ring when a call comes in from outside, although I would like the person at that phone to be able to pick up the phone and answer the incoming call. Is that possible? Thanks Sean Garland, MCP+I, A+ Siskiyou Technology
