PCI Passthrough question (xm->xl migration in Xen 4.2.2)
In XM toolchain, we use to put pci = [ ''0000:07:11.6=0@1a'' ] but looks like in XL toolchain there is no way to specify function in the guest. Kindly let me know. XM - pci = [ ''0000:07:11.6=0@1a'' ] XL - pci = [ ''0000:07:11.6@1a'' ] In the guest VM we see that PCI device is getting 0 function in both the cases however, it may not work the

FreeBSD 7.0 + Xen 3.1 + HVM: Success!
Just thought I'd pass along that I have successfully installed FreeBSD 7.0 into a Xen 3.1 HVM. ?This one went as smooth as I expected, considering my experience with 6.3. ?Haven't done any benchmarking or stress testing or port installs or anything. ?But so far it's working nicely. Here's all the info. ?If you'd like to see anything else, let me know. Host hardware: ?

Can't get PCI card visible in guest
I've got a Digium PCI telephone card that I'm trying to use with an AsteriskNow guest, on a CentOS 5.2 host. I've tried setting up the pciback stuff, and think I've done it right, but the card does not show up in the guest. I'm obviously missing something, so any help (including ways to debug this!) would be greatly appreciated. Here's some more info: The guest is

Is: Xen 4.2 and using 'xl' to save/restore is buggy with PVHVM Linux guests (v3.10 and v3.11 and presumarily earlier as well). Works with Xen 4.3 and Xen 4.4. Was:Re: FAILURE 3.11.0-rc7upstream(x86_64) 3.11.0-rc7upstream(i386)\: 2013-08-26 (tst001)
Hey, I have a nighly build/test system that boots various machines with upstream Linux and randomly selects Xen 4.1, Xen 4.2, Xen 4.3 and unstable. After a bit of digging I found out that Xen 4.2 ''xl'' (but not ''xm'') has some badness in it. When "migrating" (''xl'' save followed by ''xl'' restore'') the PVHVM

Vector trunc code generation difference between llvm-3.9 and 4.0
Thanks Sanjay. Interestingly for me, disable-llvm-optmzns did not make a difference in the way the shift was handled. Does the initial IR generated for you show this difference when the option is passed? Vector trunc code generation difference between llvm-3.9 and 4.0
The regression for the reported case should be avoided after: https://reviews.llvm.org/rL297232 https://reviews.llvm.org/rL297242 https://reviews.llvm.org/rL297280 It would still be good to understand if the clang change was intentional or if that was a side effect that can be limited. DBG_VALUE insertion for spills breaks bundles
Hi, The insertion of DBG_VALUE instructions for spills does not seem to be handling insert locations inside bundles well. If the spill instruction is part of a bundle, the new DBG_VALUE is inserted after it, but does not have the bundling flags set. This essentially means that if we start with a set of bundled instructions: MI1 [BundledSucc=true, BundledPred=false] MI2 [BundledSucc=false,
