BTRFS partition won't mount
Hello all,
I recently had a power failure and can no longer mount my /home directory. The harddrive has two BTRFS partitions: sda7(/) and sda8(/home). The / partition loads up just fine, but /home does not. I''ve tried btrfsck as shown below and I''ve included dmesg pertaining to btrfs. This is on ArchLinux and the software versions are as follows:

If Then Trouble
Dear R Helpers,
I have another one of those problems involving a very simple step, but due
to my inexperience I can't find a way to solve it. I had a look at a
number of on-line references, but they don't speak to this problem.
I have a variable with 20 values

how to cleanup old superblock
Hello!
Long time ago I created btrfs on /dev/sda
After some changes btrfs moved to /dev/sda1 (well, to md, and sda1 is
part of md).
As result, <btrfs fi show> show me 2 filesystems: new one and old one.
Probably I need to do some cleaning. Can someone tell me what to do.

removing NA from multidmension arrays
Hi:
I'm having some difficulty properly subscripting a function to remove

best
to script this out?

Proper apply function for matrices embedded in lists
Hi:
I have a small problem that I'm not quite sure how to figure out. I've
generated some randomized (permutated) data which consists of nrows=3 by
ncols=165 (see below) per element (3 x 165 = 495 sub-elements).

nocow flags
I set the C (NOCOW) and z (Not_Compressed) flags on a folder but the extent counts of files contained there keep increasing.
Said files are large and frequently modified but not changing in size. This does not happen when the filesystem is mounted with nodatacow.
I''m using this as a workaround since subvolumes can''t be mounted with different options simultaneously. ie. one with

kernel BUG at fs/btrfs/volumes.c:3707 still not fixed in 3.7.1 (btrfs-zero-log required) but shown as "RIP btrfs_num_copies"
Unfortunately my laptop deadlocks from time to time, and too often
it triggers this bug in btrfs which is quite hard to recover from.
The bigger problem is that all the user sees (if anything) is seemingly
unrelated info, namely, "RIP: btrfs_num_copies+0x42/0x0b" or somesuch

Consistant test for NAs in a factor when exclude = NULL?
Dear folks?
Is there a function to correctly find (and count) the NAs in a factor when
exclude=NULL, regardless of whether their origin is in the original data or
by subsequent assignment?
In example number 1 below, where NAs are assigned by is.na()<-, testing the
factor with is.na() finds the correct number of NAs. In example number 2,
where the NAs are from the data, neither is.na(), ==NA,

BUG btrfs fi show displays stale btrfs volume
I''ve filed this bug under util-linux, because I think wipefs isn''t deleting all btrfs metadata it could. But ultimately it appears to be a btrfs bug because nothing else sees the stale volume.

How to remove outer box from Wireframe plots?
I would like to remove the outermost box from my wireframe plots -- this is
the box that is automatically generated, and is not the inner cube that
frames the data. There was a thread on this 4 yrs ago but none of the fixes
work (e.g., grid.newpage(), grid.lines(gp = gpar(col = NA)) or
par.box=list(col=1),col=NA. These just make the data or the cube disappear.
Has anyone solved this issue?

Multi part problem...array manipulation and sampling
Ok, I have a new, multipart problem that I need help figuring out.
Part 1. I have a three dimensional array (species, sites, repeat counts
within sites). Sampling effort per site varies so the array should be
ragged.
Maximum number of visits at any site = 22
Number of species = 161
Number of sites = 56
I generated the array first by;

Thank you! Upgrade from Novell 4.11 is complete
I just wanted to write to you guys and thank you for all of your help and
hand-holding as I upgraded our company's file server from a Pentium 200mmx
running Novell 4.11 to a nice P4 server running Linux and Samba 3.0.9. It
took from September to the end of December to accomplish it, but I have
gotten compliments from several users about how smooth the transition was.
