[OT] security bug with firefox and add-on
greets.
tho this is off-topic for this list, it is still a bug that centos users
along with all users of firefox should be aware of.
due to nature of bug and what is involved, i believe it safer to not go
into great details in an open list. never know which 'hats' are subscribed
to support list. :-D
so my question is just who should i inform of problem?
mozilla.org? author of add-on?

wicd problem 0: i have started having problems wicd and network connections
greetings,
system:
CentOS = 6.6 - current updates
KDE = 4.3.4
Network Manager = 0.8.1
wicd = 1.7.0 (bzr-r552)
from what i have read in threads, it appears that 'wicd' is recommended
network controller over 'network manager'.
because of this, i installed wicd and tried to use.
i find this strange because i see problems when using 'wicd'.

installing centos with oos ntfs format drives
greetings.
i am going to run a fresh install of centos 6.4 and want to mount 3
partitions of oos that are formatted as ntfs in an oem installed box.
if during install, i set up partitions /dev/sda1, /dev/sda2, and
/dev/sdb1 as ntfs, will install install ntfs software or will i have
to select it later on in installation?
also, is it better to mount them under /mnt to keep /media clean?
tia.
