Data Abort while in booting when using Julien's new patches on Arndale Board
Hello,
I am trying to boot Arndale board with Julien''s new XenARM patch series.
But I have got "Data Abort" while in booting.
My environment is:
- Arndale Board
- Xen-4.3-unstable from branch "arm" in
git://xenbits.xen.org/people/julieng/xen-unstable.git
- Dom0 Kernel from branch "dev-arndale-dom0-3.9" in

[PATCH v8 8/5] Add UART support and arch timer initialization for OMAP5
Since OMAP UART has a few distinct features than common 8250 UART, I
re-implemented its driver rather than porting it based on ns16550.c.
There are mainly two big differences between the implementations. First,
OMAP UART introduces the concept of register access mode, which divides
the register map into seperated space. Switching the access mode is then
necessary when configuring it. Second, THRE

[PATCH 00/45] initial arm v8 (64-bit) support
First off, Apologies for the massive patch series...
This series boots a 32-bit dom0 kernel to a command prompt on an ARMv8
(AArch64) model. The kernel is the same one as I am currently using with
the 32 bit hypervisor
I haven''t yet tried starting a guest or anything super advanced like
that ;-). Also there is not real support for 64-bit domains at all,
although in one or two places I

LLD default page size for arm32
Hello,
In the recent days we have been debugging a really thorny issue where
binaries build with clang and linked with lld was just "Killed" when
started on a specific armv7 device we ship on.
After quite a bit of head scratching it turns out that the kernel on this
device ships with a 32k default page size (getconf PAGESIZE) and lld uses
4k default page size.
We fixed this by passing

Critical XRay fixes for Arm32
Sorry, I initially included LLVM-Commits rather than LLVM-Dev. Fixed.

Critical XRay fixes for Arm32
How is XRay tested? IIRC, Renato didn't see any test failures on ARM?
Merging sounds reasonbaly, I'd just like to understand what's the risk
for the branch.

Critical XRay fixes for Arm32
I'm wondering why the lit tests didn't catch this as part of testing rc1 on ARM.

[PATCH v2 0/2] Implement VFP context switch for arm32
Hello,
This is the second version of this patch series.
I only implement the VPF context switch support for arm32 and add dummy function
to avoid compilation on arm64.
I have switched the order of the patch because the old second one can be applied
alone and the patch are cleaner :).
For all the changes see each patch.

This round implements all of the review comments from V2 and all patches
are now acked. Unless there are any objections I intend to apply later
this morning.

I see. Thanks for clarifying.
I'm Ok with merging these if Dean agrees, as I believe he's the code owner.
Thanks,
Hans

About booting Xen with UEFI on FastModel
Hi all,
I noticed that upstream UEFI is now supported ARMv8 on FastModel.
I’ve tried it to boot Linux with it. And it works. But it seems
it still cannot load Xen hypervisor properly. I’m now looking for
the reasons. Is there any difference for a firmware to load Xen
and Linux kernel?
Cheers,

Problems when using latest git tree to boot xen on OMAP5
Hi Julien,
Since Ian has merged most my OMAP5 patches, I decide to try to update my working tree to it today. However, it seems it doesn't work as expected. There mainly two kind of problems that I met:
1. It seems that xen no longer maps some of io memory regions described in dts. For example, the memory regions in "ocp" node of omap5.dtsi.
2. commit c88d32f4 seems to be conflict

[PATCH 00/09] arm: tools: build for arm64 and enable cross-compiling for both arm32 and arm64
The following patches shave some rough edges off the tools build system
to allow cross compiling for at least arm32 and arm64 based on the
Debian/Ubuntu multiarch infrastructure. They also add the necessary
fixes to build for arm64 (which I have only tried cross, not native).
I have posted some instructions on how to compile with these patches on
the wiki:
