We have been using CentOS 6.4 and have 2 vpn/gre tunnels to separate cisco rtrs using ospf. with kernel 2.6.32-358.23.2 We have upgraded to 6.5 bit using kernel 2.6.32-431.5.1 and the exact same configuration scripts for our vpn/gre tunnels. Hello List, I want to boot into single user mode and run a script automatically. I have been looking for a couple of hours and have found one solution I don't like. How can I get the shell that is started in single user mode to run a script. My one solution was to add a profile in /etc/profile.d/ that called the script. Is this the only way to do it? Sometimes we get units returned that we when we boot them up have some type of filesystem inconsistency that the default preen doesn't fix but running fsck -y does.
