[PATCH-resend] Implement SSH2_FXF_APPEND
Hi,
I submitted this a few weeks ago but here it is again since I got no
response. If there is somewhere else I should send this, please tell
me.
This patch implements SSH2_FXF_APPEND in the sftp server. It is a
fairly trivial patch and applies against the proper OpenSSH and the
Portable edition. I would argue that it is important for OpenSSH to
implement SSH2_FXF_APPEND since it is in the

[PATCH] Implement SSH2_FXF_APPEND
Hi,
Here is a fairly simple patch to implement append mode for the sftp
server. The patch was tested against the portable version but it
applies cleanly to the normal version.

[PATCH] Adds support for Append command (SSH_FXF_APPEND) to sftp_client
Dear list,
Attached is a patch that implements the "append" command in a sftp session,
as describe in "draft-ietf-secsh-filexfer-01" and further releases.
It is for and had been tested on the current version of OpenSSH
(the Portable CVS) and it works, also against non patched versions.
The patch is "simple" it it just like the "do_upload" function in

gvfs and (lib)smbclient
Hi all,
I'm one of the GNOME gvfs maintainers, and would like to improve the support of
smb in gvfs, especially in the context of taking advantage of the improvements
of SMB2 and SMB3. Currently we use libsmbclient which provides a fairly easy to
use API. It is not, however, quite sufficient for the way that we would like to
use it (at least I think so):
- Slow transfer speeds. Based on a

OpenSSH and X.509 Certificate Support
Hi,
I need to add X.509 Certificate support to OpenSSH.
I came across the following post on the openssh-unix-dev mailing list
that is very useful:

SSH 2.4.0 remote forward patch in next release?
I [1]reported a problem on 5-April-2005 about a problem with the 4.0p1
version and remote port forwarding to SSH 2.4.0 servers. I provided a
patch for the problem but [2]was told that no more patches were being
considered until 4.1 was released and that I should attach my patch to a
new Bugzilla bug. This [3]I did.
Is there any chance it will be included in the next release?

SFTP append patch
Hi,
We plan to do automated file transfers with SFTP where an uploaded
file is always appended on the server, and I made this patch to
support that. The patch
1. adds the "ap" command to the client (syntax just like the put command)
2. adds in both client and server support for the SSH2_FXF_APPEND flag
of the "pflags" field of the file open message.
Patch is against 4.0p1.

LPK integration - summary and ideas
Hello everybody,
I'd like to have LPK (or something like that - getting public keys from
LDAP) integrated into mainline OpenSSH.
*** First of all, a summary.
The project page at
http://code.google.com/p/openssh-lpk/
mentions that a few distributions include LPK per default; but reading the
various threads at
