Perl DBI 1.52 on el6
Hello guys, I was told by the client to install Perl DBI version 1.52 on a el6 box, by default el6 branch comes with DBI version 1.6x, this version is AFAIK not the desired one. First I tried installing DBI 1.52 from some rpm package [1], which had some dependencies, Perl 5.8.8 and dbd.4.4.x, this last package was also present el6, so it made conflict and it was not possible to install DBI 1.52

Block samba hosts by domain
Hi everybody, I'm setting up a Samba under RHEL 7.0, just a simple samba server. But I'm having trouble with blocking access to shares, to be specific with domain block. I'm using default config in samba.conf, just added the share's config. While blocking by network range it works. Even when some IPs in the network 172.25.0.X are subdomains of example.com, they are not blocked.

Hi, I tried with the latest stable 4.5.x, but with no success. Do you think you could share your smb.conf ? and also how you built from source? I suspect there's something missing in the KRB5 for Samba (due to KDC error messages). Thanks in advance! Correct you need a smb.conf. https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/User_Documentation   And please do correct your hosts file before you join.   >>  127.0.0.1   localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4 dc-02.example.com dc-02 << NOT GOOD ::1         localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6 10.3.251.19

Oh, also, I was asking about the smb.conf because googling I saw some smb.conf with some entries for Kerberos which supposely fixed/helped other people. Currently my /etc/samba/ is empty, so I think it is normal from a Samba built from source. Patches to enable MTUs >1500 in el5.6 ready for testing.
Hi all, With help from others, I''ve been able to get Olaf''s patch for enabling MTUs >1500 for vifX.y and tapZ devices working. I''ve been able to boot dom0, launch domU and live-migrate without having the bridge''s MTU degrade at any time. Would the Xen RPM maintainers (and others) mind taking a look at the following patches? Kernel part:

[HOWTO] Running Xen 4.0 host (dom0) with Redhat Enterprise Linux 6 (RHEL6)
Hello, If you''re interested in running Xen 4.0 hypervisor/dom0 on RHEL6, take a look at here: http://wiki.xen.org/xenwiki/RHEL6Xen4Tutorial It explains steps needed to rebuild Xen 4.0.1 src.rpm from Fedora on RHEL6, and how to fetch dom0 capable 2.6.32.x kernel from upstream git repository. It also shows how to get libvirt/virt-manager working with Xen on RHEL6. Hopefully it helps :)
