Problems to configure IMAP Quota
Hello,
We manage a mail server using Dovecot under Debian.
Since a long time, we run nightly a script permitting to display the
storage usage of each user on the webmail, using internal calls. The
usage on each mailbox is stored in a Mysql database.
For several reasons, we would now want to use the IMAP quota feature,
not only to let users have the quota displayed from their Mail clients.

How to get Gecko working?
> Please install gecko in /usr/share/wine per http://wiki.winehq.org/Gecko. http://winezeug.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/install-gecko.sh is an easy script to do that. Then you should never need to do 'winetricks gecko' again.

Wine Gecko 0.9.0
The announcement of Wine 1.1.12 mentions a new version of Wine Gecko, version 0.9.0. I have two questions:
1. What version of Gecko is this based on? Will this improve the way installed apps render pages?
2. How will this affect existing programs that have Wine Gecko 0.1.0 in their Wine environment? I have the old cab file in /usr/share/wine/gecko which gets installed whenever I wineboot. Will

Reinstalling gecko after failed install
Hi, after I updated to wine 1.5 and launched winecfg, it tried to download and install new version of gecko. I use wine built as wine-wow so it tried to install both 32 and 64 versions. But it failed in one of them, control.exe crashed. I then tried to install gecko from msi packages using msiexec, but the problem is msiexec is not aware of wow configuration. It installs both versions to the same

Troubles with gecko/javascript?
I've come across what I see as an oddity with regards to Gecko and Javascript. The real app I'm trying to work on here is the Star Trek Online launcher. It's having problems due to Javascript not executing, but I can leave that aside for now.
I've been using http://www.cyscape.com/showbrow.aspx to test some stuff out. I have one version of wine, built from GIT sources.

Wine Gecko download problems on Kubuntu 10.10 w/Wine 1.3.28
I can't seem to get wine to recognize my installation of Wine Gecko 1.3 at all. I have the Wine PPA added to my sources already and have installed the 'wine1.3-gecko' package using Synaptic (personal preference over Kpackagekit or Muon) along with of course the actual wine 1.3 package and the symbol font replacement package for 1.3. I have also tried the 'manual install'

Having an issue with Gecko
Hey everybody, i'm honestly a first time linux user, but a long time fan. I've started getting the hang of things but there is one thing that i can't figure out.
I was trying to install warcraft 3 using the blizzard downloader and the downloader froze and crashed as soon as i started it. I checked the terminal and it looks like gecko wouldn't initialize... I tried to launch wine

Problem installing Gecko
Hello,
I have just installed wine. In addition, I would like to install Gecko. So, following your instructions, I run the wine iexplore... command. Problem is that the Gecko installer keeps getting stuck at some point (My internet connection works fine at this time). Is there another way to install Gecko (maybe download it from somewhere)?
My box runs RHEL5 Linux BTW.
Cheers,
D.

html rendering and gecko on a winmx install wine 1.1.11
opensuse 11.2 64 bit
I have downloaded and compiled/installed wine 1.1.11, so that I may use a windows program called WinMX 3.54b4 [32 bit] on my linux opensuse distro. I had been advised that Wine versions higher than this do not work well with WinMX. At the end of the compile it tells me that libgphoto2-32bit was not found and that cameras won't work. I check in Yast2 to see if it can

MS Internet explorer instead of Gecko
Hello,
I have a windows application called Anita (terminal emulation sofware from www.april.se) that runs just fine on Linux with WINE.
The problem is that Anita needs to open an HTML page and display a PDF file.
It works on Windows - terminal emulation software displays the PDF file without any problems but it doesn't work on linux. It displays a blank page.
My guess is because on Windows

Avoid the Gecko dialogue
Can I use a wine command line argument (or anything other) to skip the `installing Gecko' dialogue?
I find it only annoying as I install Gecko via winetricks when needed and I usually have a wine prefix for each windows program I use.

Pre-downloaded Wine Gecko Installer?
Hi,
I've been doing a lot of testing in isolated WINEPREFIX environments. So, I'm constantly creating new .wine folders and having to run winecfg to set them up. Well, each time I do this, I have to watch the Wine Gecko Installer progress bar, and sometimes it can be slow (like if my internet connection is bogged up).
I wish I could keep a local copy that WINE would pull instead of

How to instruct Wine to use MSIE rendering engine by default instead of Gecko?
Hi,
I need to debug some complex Javascript that leaks in MSIE (no leaks
in Firefox though). For this purpose, I am trying to utilize programs
like Drip and sIEve. Both programs fail under Wine, and my guess is,
they try to use Gecko as the rendering engine (and this is not what's
desired: Gecko works fine with my stuff).
Now, provided that MSIE can be installed under Wine, and works, can

Lower version of IE required with Gecko
Hello,
I'm using Darwine (is that supported here?) with Gecko in OS X 10.4. I'm trying to run the airline timetables from GoldenWare Travel Technologies (American Airlines, oneWorld, United Airlines, etc.) that you can download from their respective websites.
The apps install just fine, but when I run them the program says that it "is not intended for use with Internet Explorer
