3.11.5 kernel compile
Hey all, I have just compiled the 3.11.5 kernel from kernel.org to fix the ACPI wont shutdown issue, but I have a couple errors in dmesg I am trying to figure out. Can anyone point me in the right direction? The errors are: 1: dm_mod: module verification failed: signature and/or required key missing - tainting kernel 2: [drm] VGACON disable radeon kernel modesetting.

Linux Arch: kernel BUG at fs/btrfs/inode.c:873!
Hi, I have a home server on Linux Arch (kernel 3.11.2) that uses multi-device btrfs on root filesystem. Until recently it worked completely fine. And yesterday I rebooted it and the machine did not wake up. I booted from a USB (kernel 3.10) and tried to mount the filesystem. Here is OOPs I see [ 41.676217] device fsid 25e6a6fa-fe1f-4be5-a638-eeac948f8c21 devid 8 transid 164237 /dev/sda [

3.10.5 vs 3.12.0 huge performance loss
Hi, Just do some ingestion tests to 40 node 16+4EC 19PB single volume. 100 clients are writing each has 5 threads total 500 threads. With 3.10.5 each server has 800MB/s network traffic, cluster total is 32GB/s With 3.12.0 each server has 200MB/s network traffic, cluster total is 8GB/s I did not change any volume options in both configs. Any thoughts? Serkan

3.11.5 kernel infinite loop
I have a system running the Debian package of 3.11.5 with an Amd Opteron 1212 processor (2*64bit cores), 8G of RAM, and an Intel 120G SSD for the root and home subvols. It has a RAID-1 array of 2*3TB disks for bulk storage (movies etc) but that probably isn''t relevant to this problem. On the root filesystem I have cron jobs making daily snapshots of / and /home and additional

Hello, my dom0 is an alpinelinux installed with kernel 3.10.14-1-grsec and xen 4.2.2. My domU is an opensuse 12.3 with all patches installed. The system works great, but when I do only switch xen from 4.2.2 to 4.3.0 (packages from http://nl.alpinelinux.org/alpine/edge/main/x86_64/) then my kernel in the domU does an Oops and the drivers for my dvb card aren''t loaded successfully. strange hostname issue on volume create command with famous Peer in Cluster state error message
I'm guessing there's something wrong w.r.t address resolution on node 1. >From the logs it's quite clear to me that node 1 is unable to resolve the address configured in /etc/hosts where as the other nodes do. Could you paste the gluster peer status output from all the nodes? Also can you please check if you're able to ping "pri.ostechnix.lan" from node1 only? Does
