Questions about FLAC documentation
I'm implementing a FLAC decoder from scratch (save OGG stuff if I can help it) because libFLAC simply will not fit my embedded platform, For the most part I'm implementing using just the documentation but not all of the documentation is concise (especially about variable sized fields) and after looking at the libFLAC source I find myself befuddled so I thought it best to get the

Questions about FLAC documentation
FlacNetLib was by far the most useful code reference. if you dont know object oriented programming then you need to muddle through libFLAC as i havent seen any other implementation that isnt OO. -Gravis On Sun, Nov 4, 2012 at 1:16 PM, Serban Giuroiu <giuroiu at gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, Gravis. > > I'm trying to build a FLAC encoder from scratch. Phrase "package writer" in R-exts
In a conversation with a programmer new to writing R packages, he mentioned that he was very confused by phrase "package writer" used in the document, and said that he "[was] literally imagining some sort of function that writes something related to packages". I can see his point: not only is it confusing, but I think it's also bad English (one wouldn't say "the

[LLVMdev] Any objections to my importing GoogleMock to go with GoogleTest in LLVM?

Fw: Calling a LAPACK subroutine from R

Yes, I know how to do that, but I find it somewhat bizarre that it is impossible to call a Fortran subroutine from Fortran. And rewriting 'dgemv' was simple:

Keep in mind that I am a maintainer for gmock so this would not change the external project decencies of LLVM. registering Fortran routines in R packages
Thanks for your email. I try to change the name in lowercase but it conflicts with a C implementation also named halton. So I rename the C function halton2() and sobol2() while the Fortran function are HALTON() and SOBOL() (I also try lower case in the Fortran code). Unfortunately, it does not help since I get init.c:97:25: error: use of undeclared identifier 'halton_'; did you mean

sas retain statement in R or fitting differene equations in NLS

For people that want to read complicated explanations to help me: I have a system of two equations written as difference equations here. To boil it down. Have you tried using tools:::package_native_routine_registration_skeleton()? If you don't like its output, you can easily edit its results and still avoid most pitfalls.
