Exporting LVM device to domU
Hi there, I'm using xen-3.0.2.2-86.1_rhel4.1 on a Redhat AS 4 update 1 for i386. When I create a new domU with the following conf file, everything is ok: ##BEGINNING## kernel = "/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.16-xen3_86.1_rhel4.1" ramdisk = "/boot/initrd-2.6.16-xen3_86.1_rhel4.1.img" builder='linux' memory = 1024 name = "myvm" vcpus = 8 vif = [

opendir(somedir/somefile): Not enough space -- why?
I am attempting to use rsync to copy a large filesystem from an HP-UX server to a Linux server with more than enough filespace. This operation fails. A small directory from the same HP-UX server can be transfered just as expected. The HP-UX server is the source. I/O hanging while hosting Postgres database
I'm seeing a condition on FreeBSD 9.1 (built October 24th) where I/O seems to hang on any local zpools after several hours of hosting a large-ish Postgres database. The database occupies about 14TB of a 38TB zpool with a single SSD ZIL. The OS is on a ZFS boot disk. The system also has 24GB of physical memory. Smartmon tools reports no errors on any disks attached to the system, and IPMI
