Long running nbdkit tests
The nbdkit tests take a long time to run especially on armv7. To try to get an idea of which tests take the most time, and since I happen to have a qemu aarch64 *TCG* guest available, I ran the tests on that guest. A TCG guest is about the worst case for libguestfs, used by some tests, since it uses double-nested TCG, and as you can see below there are tests taking over 6 hours. In fact I

Installing Centos 5 on one system and moving the HD to another....
I have a bug report in (0002288) on an install failure on my decTOPs (Centos 4.5 installed on them). I have tried a lot of combinations and it is getting tiring. What what happen, or rather how do I get the following to work: Put my HD into a computer (Compaq SSF that I have installed Centos 5 on with no trouble), install Centos 5, move the HD to the decTOP. Different Video card. No PS/2

2 Problems with new Games (COD4 & CnC3)
Hey, I tried to install 2 new Games in Wine; Call of Duty 4 and C&C 3 Tiberium Wars. Both of them make Problems (Other Games like GTA San Andreas and Crashday runs fine). C&C 3 start, but I don't have a Cursor. It's Invisible. I tried some Options in Wine and searched an Option to set the Mouse from HW-Cursor to SW-Cursor, but it hasn't a function for that (but I think

world of warcraft drops to 1 FPS after runing for a while
Dear wine users, I have run wow under wine successfully for a while on my old computer, but recently I upgraded my system, and I am expreiencing a baffling problem : WoW runs great for a while, but after about 10 minutes, it drops down to 1 FPS. This corresponds with the cpu usage of WoW.exe jumping from about 60% to 100%. It feels to me like the game switched from using nvidia openGL to

Re: Long running nbdkit tests
I pushed a change which should reduce the time taken in the test-cache-* and test-cow.sh tests. Again note this is double TCG which is the worst case for these tests and explains the excessively long times which wouldn't be seen on a normal build system. Updated results: 01:04:18 PASS: test-readahead 01:02:32 PASS: test-cow.sh 00:37:25 PASS: test-floppy.sh 00:34:57 PASS: test-shell 00:34:53

Back to my Xwindows kernel panic
I have a newly built drive with 5.2 fresh install (that I will be cloning shortly) in my DECtop and it is failing with X the same way the upgrade from 5.1 drive did (not too supprising there). In 5.1 X worked. I could startx from init 3 and get into GNOME. Also VNC into the box and have a GNOME screen. With 5.2, I get a kernel panic. Well I guess it is a kernel panic because once I run
