Sending an SMS out of Asterisk via Kannel
GOAL: To pass variables from Asterisk to Kannel when sending out an SMS message using a URL. CURRENTLY: I am able to pass a URL via Asterisk to Kannel and out of my GSM modem BUT I haven't figured out how to include Asterisk variables in the string. I was hoping someone could help me figure out what I'm doing wrong. Perhaps there is a simple AGI I should be using. I am not

how to do piecewise linear regression in R?
Dear all, I want to do piecewise CAPM linear regression in R: RRiskArb−Rf = (1−δ)[αMktLow+βMktLow(RMkt−Rf)] + δ[αMkt High +βMkt High(RMkt −Rf )] where δ is a dummy variable if the excess return on the value-weighted CRSP index is above a threshold level and zero otherwise. and at the same time add the restriction: αMkt Low + βMkt Low · Threshold = αMkt High + βMkt High · Threshold to ensure

regression using GMM for mulltiple groups
Inthe code below I was trying to to obtain the GMM estimates for CAPM (REGRESSION) for 36 stocks each have 180 observations,however it only gives me one output rather than 36. In SAS i would just put in a *By statement*. I have a variable TICKER that categorize them into 36 groups. *How can I obtain all 36 output instead of just one.* **

ar() - AIC and BIC
Hi, I'm slowly working through Tsay's "Analysis of Financial Time Series" 3rd ed. ?I'm trying to replicate Table 2.1 on p.47, which gives PACF, AIC, and BIC for the monthly simple returns of the CRSP value-weighted index. The data: http://faculty.chicagobooth.edu/ruey.tsay/teaching/fts3/m-ibm3dx2608.txt > da <-

[LLVMdev] New ARM disassembler - unpredictable instructions
Hi, I'm looking at the new ARM disassembler, and performing testing to see if there are any obvious bugs I can fix. Overall it looks really nice - I've only found one obvious bug that I'm packaging up a patch for now. Currently it does not provide information as to whether a particular bitpattern was UNPREDICTABLE or not. For example, an invalid bitpattern may return correct

I haven't really done comprehensive testing yet—it passes all the decoding tests

The problem is that my outbound call sometimes go though and sometimes don't. If someone can point me in the right direction it will be highly appreciated.

The '!' in the path names causes unpredictable results with directory listings
I filed this as a bug, but wanted to post this to the ng to check if anyone has ever seen this. I'm using samba 3.0.4. This is a somewhat weird situation, so please bear with me through the description. The following path: "C:\! 01 Carte Geografiche\carte\" When read with smbclient the windows share will only show 160 files in the folder. When read on the windows machine it

Printers not working with Point'N'Print
I have been wrestling with this for quite some time. I have Samba 3.0.9-1.3E.3 installed on a RH ES 3 server running the 2.4.21-32.ELsmp kernel. I have a Xerox Workcentre 32C, Workcentre 65, HP Laser Jet 5si, HP LJ 8000, LJ 4250dtn. All of the printers work fine from the local machine. In other words, I can print to any of the printers from the RH server. However, when using Samba to share

unpredictable behaviour
I see very odd results from rsync 2.4.7pre1, the latest cvs version (sept 12, i think was the last modified file). We have a number of network-attached storage devices. 10/100 ethernet, nfs2 mounted (under nfs3, they buffer deletes, and recursive deletions fail). Usually, these are kept syncronized across a wan by a nightly cronjob, We have a few we keep in reserve, which we syncronize
