Decoding only a certain frame results in different values than when decoding the entire file
To make it complete, here is the code that I am using to encode a large file: int __stdcall SpxEncode(unsigned char* inBuf, unsigned char* outBuf, unsigned int inlen) { //char *testFile; //FILE *ftest; //testFile = "test"; //ftest = fopen(testFile, "wb"); //fwrite(inBuf,1,inlen,ftest); //take every 320 bytes //copy every short to float

Problem with Win95 + DFS clients (fwd)
Hi, I've found a problem with samba when printing from a client running win95 + DFS. The print fails with a segmentation fault. The problem is that Win95 does not return the proper file_fsp( smb_vwv0) when doing an IOCTL request.This causes the file_fsp call in reply_ioctl (smbd/reply.c) to fail cause a segmentation fault. I do not understand how samba work, but here is my working patch

Compaq V2000 laptop no USB recognized
To continue here with problems on this compaq v2000 laptop, I put kernel source on a USB disk and plugged it into the v2000. NOTHING IS recognized. I tried to manually mount the disk and nothing either... I thought USB was well established.... I thought trying to recompile the kernel for realtek support might get my networking going... I am stuck??? Jerry -------------- next part

close open relay
hi all, running centos 4.7 i686. I seem to have an o pen r elay sendmail server. How do I close it? I have the STRAIGHT centos install sendmail.mc file. Only thing I changed was: dnl DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA')dnl so as to allow incoming email and not just localhost. however this seems to relay everyone. I looked at http://www.sendmail.org/tips/relaying but it

Moving from Speex to Opus (question 2)
Hello! I was using Speex all the time, and I am now moving to Opus. I had encapsulated the decoder a bit, I had the following cpp file: #include "StdAfx.h" #include "spxcodec.h" #define MAX_FRAME_SIZE 2000 #define MAX_FRAME_BYTES 2000 CSpxCodec::CSpxCodec() : enh(1), rate(8000) { } CSpxCodec::~CSpxCodec() { } void CSpxCodec::Init() { speex_bits_init(&bits);

usb 3
I am trying to plug a USB 2 device in a USB 3 slot. Nothing is being detected in "lsusb". Is there something special I need to do? I am running centos 5.5 x86_64. I thought 3.0 was backward compatible. Nothing special about my device its an RS232 to USB device. It works in 2.0 slot. Thanks, Jerry
