completed printjobs stay in queue
Jerry,
I'm very sorry for this late answer. I should tweak my mailfilters (I
didn't expect an answer anymore so I didn't check my samba-mailfolder)
That's our situation:
- I tried to revert to 3.0.20rc2 and got the error again
- I installed 3.0.20 again and rebooted, and the problem went away! (I'm
sure that all smbd, nmbd and winbindd daemons were killed before the

Sipura 3000 Question
Dear list,
I am playing with Sipura 3000 since last week.
Through the wiki pages I could get running it reasonably well.
My setup is that of a Sipura, linked with a local analog cordless phone,
a local PSTN line and the setup to link to an asterisk server located at
a remote static ip address.
I can dial the cordless phone from other extensions located at the
asterisk server; I can dial out

completed printjobs stay in queue after "upgrade" 3.0.20rc2 -> 3.0.20
A few weeks ago, I upgraded Samba 3.0.1x to 3.0.14a . After the upgrade,
all completed printjobs on all 40 printers stayed in samba's print queue
(they were removed from the unix-printqueue). When I installed
3.0.20rc2, everything back to normal.
But since the upgrade this weekend to 3.0.20, the same thing happens
again: no jobs were removed from the samba printerqueue's.

Lotus Notes Client Replication Fails
After mucho pulling out my hair, I have finally got the Lotus Notes
Client 5.08 running over Wine, on Mandrake 8.0. Not bad for a Linux newbie!
Replication isn't working for me though. Whenever I try to replicate a
database with a Domino server, I get the error message:
"Wine failed to invoke the program f:\wine\notes\nwrdaem.EXE"
The path is correct, and the file is present

OpenPGP key as authentication
Dear all,
I was wondering if there is any plan to add authentication with
OpenPGP key in addition to the DSA/RSA authentication.
In the ssh.com version, you got something like that (I don't really
remember the correct directive) : PgpSecreKeyfile,PgpKeyID and so on.
Is it a planned feature ?
Thanks.

Clear file locks when connection dies
Hi,
we have a samba setup running samba 3.0.10-Debian with a lot of DOS pc's
writing to it.
Now we have a problem that when one of those pc's is restarted while
having a lock, that file stays locked. We already tried changing this
behavior by setting the following parameters without effect:
- keepalive
- SO_KEEPALIVE
- deadtime
How can we enable a timeout on these locks /

Sensitivity and specificity in multi-class problems
Hi,
I'm relative new to R.
I'm looking for a convenient way to calculate sensitivity and
specificity in machine-learning models (SVM, ...). In a two-class case
it's quite simple by calculating the TP, TN, FP, FN rates once but in the
multi-class case I have to do it as often as there exist different
classes (for each class).
Of course I could do it manually in a for-loop or so. But is

given a sensitivity calculate specificity based on a ROC curve
Hi list,
I know this is not hard to implement based on the returned objects from ROC,
ROCR or a couple of other roc-related packages. I'm just wondering if there is
already such a function exist.
Thanks!

Package for comparing sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, and accuracy?
Hi, I have two sets of sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive
value, and negative predictive value, and accuracy from two tests on
the same subjects. Is there an R package that does such paired
comparisons?
Thanks,

bootstraping sensitivity and specificity
Dear all, I have a standard method and two alternatives to perform a test,
called method A and method B.
I have calculated the sensitivity and specificity for
standard method vs. method A and standard method vs. method B.
Hence, I have two sensitivity values an two specificity values.
To be clear, sensitivity and specificity was calculated from:

Suggestion on Specificity of REDIRECT
Hello!
We were just wondering if it would be possible to modify Shorewall in a
future version so that the ORIGINAL DEST field in the "rules" file could
take zones, or better, the full grammar normally allowed in the DEST
field when matching other types of firewall rules. The advantage is that
it would allow aggregation of destination information in cases where we

Logistic Regression - Interpreting SENS (Sensitivity) and SPEC (Specificity)
Hi
Hi I am working on credit scoring model using logistic regression. I havd main sample of 42500 clentes and based on their status as regards to defaulted / non - defaulted, I have genereted the probability of default.
I have a hold out sample of 5000 clients. I have calculated (1) No of correctly classified goods Gg, (2) No of correcly classified Bads Bg and also (3) number of wrongly
