[PATCH] xen/arm: Add CPU ID for Broadcom Brahma-B15
From: Marc Carino <marc.ceeeee@gmail.com> Let Xen recognize the Broadcom Brahma-B15 CPU by adding the appropriate MIDR mask to the initialization phase. Further, ensure that the console output properly reports the CPU manufacturer as "Broadcom Corporation". [RFC PATCH 0/2] GLOBAL() macro for asm code.
Hello, This series has been split into two patches, one for arm and one for x86. I figured that this was easier than doing it as a single combined patch, especially as the changes are functionally independent. x86 has been boot tested, but arm has not even been compile tested as I lack a suitable cross compiler. However, the changes are just text replacement, so I dont expect any issues. The

Latest Xen on ARM Fast Models
Hi, I''m having some problems with getting the latest linux kernel and xen build working on ARM''s Fast Model simulator ( Cortex A15 ). I tried a lot of different configurations and I''m having trouble with all of them. I got all my information from the wiki pages at http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Xen_ARMv7_with_Virtualization_Extensions#Building_Xen_on_ARM . I was hoping

[PATCH v2] arm: introduce a DTS for Xen unprivileged virtual machines
Given that the xenvm machine is based on vexpress but with an extremely limited selection of peripherals (the guest is supposed to use virtual devices instead), add "xen, xenvm" to the list of compatible machines in mach-vexpress. Changes in v2: - remove include skeleton; - use #address-cells = <2> and #size-cells = <2>; - remove the debug bootargs; - use memory@80000000

libvirt on Raspberry Pi, block by parameter "-S"
Hi I have used libvirt on Raspberry Pi Debian. I can start the vm, but it just starts and doesn't continue. I find the qemu-system-arm command generated by virsh has a parameter "-S", when I copy the command, remove the parameter, run it in the console, the vm can run normally. But I don't know how to remove the parameter in the xml file, or in virsh. Regards Thank you Xu

Problems computing 2-way-mixed-model ANOVA
Dear Experts, I am new to R and unfortunately cannot start with a simply statistical analysis: I manually determined the volume of the right and left hippocampus in a group of meditators and in a group of controls. My data-sheet looks as follows: observation subject group age gender hemisphere volume 1 am04 m 25 f left 3.637 2 am04 m 25 f right 3.713 3 ao08 m 47 m left 3.715 4 ao08 m 47

[PATCH 00/45] initial arm v8 (64-bit) support
First off, Apologies for the massive patch series... This series boots a 32-bit dom0 kernel to a command prompt on an ARMv8 (AArch64) model. The kernel is the same one as I am currently using with the 32 bit hypervisor I haven''t yet tried starting a guest or anything super advanced like that ;-). Also there is not real support for 64-bit domains at all, although in one or two places I

[PATCH+RFC+HACK 00/16] xen: arm initial support for xgene arm64 platform
I''m afraid this series is rather a grab bag and it is distressingly large at this stage. With this series I can boot an Xgene board until it fails to find its SATA controller. This is a dom0 issue for which patches are pending from APM (/me nudges Anup). As well as the APM specific platform stuff there are also some generic improvements which were either necessary or useful during this

[PATCH v3 00/46] initial arm v8 (64-bit) support
This round implements all of the review comments from V2 and all patches are now acked. Unless there are any objections I intend to apply later this morning. Ian.

[PATCH nbdkit 9/9] tests/old-plugins: Add plugin from nbdkit 1.18.2.
This is significant because it's a plugin which was from the last stable release containing undefined symbols (in the internal plugins). $ ldd -r tests/old-plugins/x86_64/Linux/v1.18.2/nbdkit-file-plugin.so linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007ffe86cdd000) libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib64/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x00007f551b3e5000) libc.so.6 => /lib64/libc.so.6 (0x00007f551b21b000) /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2

[PATCH v2 0/2] Implement VFP context switch for arm32
Hello, This is the second version of this patch series. I only implement the VPF context switch support for arm32 and add dummy function to avoid compilation on arm64. I have switched the order of the patch because the old second one can be applied alone and the patch are cleaner :). For all the changes see each patch. Cheers, Julien Grall (2): xen/arm: don''t enable VFP on XEN

[PATCH] x86-64: syscall/sysenter support for 32-bit apps
.. for both 32-bit apps in 64-bit pv guests and 32on64. This patch depends on more than just guest_context saved/restored as guest state during save/restore/migrate (namely the new fields holding callback addresses). Since the 32-bit kernel doesn''t make use of syscall (it would be possible to do so now, when running on a 64-bit hv), the compat mode guest code path for syscall

[PATCH v2 00/14] xen: arm: 64-bit guest support and domU FDT autogeneration
I''ve addressed all (I think/hope) of the review comments. The main change is to expose the guest virtual platform (e.g. memory layout and interrupt usage etc) to the toolstack via the public interface. This is then used during FDT generation. I have just codified the current defacto standard layout, it''s probably not the best layout but any change can be a separate patch/series.

[PATCH RFC v13 00/20] Introduce PVH domU support
This patch series is a reworking of a series developed by Mukesh Rathor at Oracle. The entirety of the design and development was done by him; I have only reworked, reorganized, and simplified things in a way that I think makes more sense. The vast majority of the credit for this effort therefore goes to him. This version is labelled v13 because it is based on his most recent series, v11.

[PATCH v6 00/16] xen: arm: 64-bit guest support and domU FDT autogeneration
Biggest change is to switch the new DTB node to /xen-core-devices instead of /xen at Stefano''s request. I also dropped the few patches title HACK etc which weren''t supposed to be there and fixed up some bits and pieces which folks commented on. George, WRT the freeze I think this is functionality which we cannot ship Xen 4.4 without. The impact is entirely constrained to the
