[PATCH 3/4] update nodatacow code
Hello,
This patch simplifies the nodatacow checker. If all references
were created after the latest snapshot, then we can avoid COW
safely. This patch also updates run_delalloc_nocow to do more
fine-grained checking.
Regards

[PATCH 03/12] Btrfs: Rewrite btrfs_drop_extents
Rewrite btrfs_drop_extents by using btrfs_duplicate_item, so we can
avoid calling lock_extent within transaction.

[PATCH] Btrfs: make some functions return void
The type of some functions that return only 0 is changed to ''void''.
In addition, the check on the return value in the caller of these
functions becomes unnecessary. So, these check is removed.

[PATCH 1/2] Btrfs/tracepoint: fix to report right flags for ordered extent
We use set_bit() to assign ordered extent''s flags, but in the related
tracepoint we don''t do the same thing, which makes the trace output
not to parse flags correctly.
Also, since the flags are bits stuff, we change to use __print_flags with
a ''delim'' instead of __print_symbolic.

[PATCH] Btrfs: return an error from btrfs_wait_ordered_range
I noticed that if the free space cache has an error writing out it''s data it
won''t actually error out, it will just carry on. This is because it doesn''t
check the return value of btrfs_wait_ordered_range, which didn''t actually return
anything. So fix this in order to keep us from making free space cache look
valid when it really isnt. Thanks,

[PATCH 1/2] btrfs: document where we use BUG_ON instead of error handling
Document those places in the btrfs code which are BUGing on non-fatal error
conditions that should be handled by proper error paths. This makes it
easier to distinguish between what needs fixing versus which BUG_ON''s we
might want to keep (to trap code bugs, unexpected inconsistencies, etc).
Do this with a trivial macro, ''btrfs_fixable_bug_on'' which just defines to

[PATCH 1/2 v3] Btrfs: use flag EXTENT_DEFRAG for snapshot-aware defrag
We''re going to use this flag EXTENT_DEFRAG to indicate which range
belongs to defragment so that we can implement snapshow-aware defrag:
We set the EXTENT_DEFRAG flag when dirtying the extents that need
defragmented, so later on writeback thread can differentiate between
normal writeback and writeback started by defragmentation.
This patch is used for the latter one.

[PATCH] [RFC] Btrfs: Subpagesize blocksize (WIP).
From: Wade Cline <clinew@linux.vnet.ibm.com>
This patch is only an RFC. My internship is ending and I was hoping
to get some feedback and incorporate any suggestions people may
have before my internship ends along with life as we know it (this
Friday).
The filesystem should mount/umount properly but tends towards the
explosive side when writes start happening. My current focus is on

[PATCH 1/5] fs: allow short direct-io reads to be completed via buffered IO V2
V1->V2: Check to see if our current ppos is >= i_size after a short DIO read,
just in case it was actually a short read and we need to just return.
This is similar to what already happens in the write case. If we have a short
read while doing O_DIRECT, instead of just returning, fallthrough and try to
read the rest via buffered IO. BTRFS needs this because if we encounter a

[PATCH] Btrfs: proper metadata -ENOSPC handling
This patch finally gives us full proper -ENOSPC handling for btrfs. Now
whenever you do a btrfs_start_transaction, you must specify the number of items
you are planning to add/delete/modify. The worst case number of blocks that
could be modified by changing that number of items will be calculated and
checked against the amount of free space in the space_info where the root you
are modifying

[PATCH] Btrfs: fix possible stale data exposure
We specifically do not update the disk i_size if there are ordered extents
outstanding for any area between the current disk_i_size and our ordered
extent so that we do not expose stale data. The problem is the check we
have only checks if the ordered extent starts at or after the current
disk_i_size, which doesn''t take into account an ordered extent that starts
before the current

[hivex] [PATCH 8/8] hivexml: Add byte run reporting functions
This patch adds value_byte_runs and node_byte_runs. Each byte run
represents the offset and length of a data structure within the hive,
one per node, and one or two per value depending on the length of the
value data.
These byte run functions also add additional data sanity checks as a
hive is being parsed, mainly checking that a node address actually
points to a node, and similarly for values.

[RFC][PATCH 3/3] Btrfs: improve truncation of btrfs
The original truncation of btrfs has a bug, that is the orphan item will not be
dropped when the truncation fails. This bug will trigger BUG() when unlink that
truncated file. And besides that, if the user does pre-allocation for the file
which is truncated unsuccessfully, after re-mount(umount-mount, not -o remount),
the pre-allocated extent will be dropped.
This patch modified the relative

HP-UX/AIX sendfile patches.
I have a fix for the sendfile.c code for HP-UX - length not properly
specified prior to call.
I've also added code to support the AIX send_file() function and
configure.in code to check for AIX specific send_file API and sets
AIX_SENDFILE_API if successful.
Could you consider this patch for 3.0.11?
I also sent a web/cgi.c patch for "struct var" last week with respect to
