Problems with dovecot 2.1.7, spamassassin 3.3.2 and antispam plugin
This might be a fairly long message, but I wanted to be sure to include as much information as possible. I'm having an issue with the dovecot-antispam plugin in that it seems to be unable to successfully run anything from the pipe backend. To qualify that, they run, but they fail ... Running /usr/bin/sa-learn directly always returns with an error code of 1, and the bayes DB isn't

Antispam plugin / sa-learn
Hello, Sorry for posting on both list spamassassin and dovecot : my question is on dovecot antispam plugin, used to learn spamassassin with sa-learn. I wonder if there is a way to confirme sa-learn is correctly feeded by the antispam plugin. dovecot version : 2.1.7 spamassassin version : 3.3.2 (both packaged in debian stable, with postfix and amavis) i configured dovecot's antispam plugin

antispam plugin not working correctly
Hi, I've configured the antispam plugin like in the wiki to use the sa- learn-pipe.sh shell script. But it's not creating the log file in /tmp. Even if I add a "touch /tmp/x" in sa-learn-pipe.sh it's not created. So how I can check if it works correctly? dovecot version 2.2.26.0 /var/log/debug although contains: Nov 23 18:36:49 daedalus imap [fzielcke at z-51.de

Need a bit of help with the antispam plugin
Hello Everyone, I'm running the antispam plugin on Dovecot 2.0.19 on Ubuntu Server 14.04 and I can't seem to get it to work. In the IMAP section of dovecot.conf I have the following lines: protocol imap { mail_plugins = $mail_plugins imap_quota imap_acl antispam # mail_plugins = $mail_plugins imap_quota imap_acl imap_client_workarounds = tb-extra-mailbox-sep # Maximum

How best to confirm that dovecot LDA logging is working correctly?
Hello! I've posted to the list several times about a strange issue I'm having with dovecot LDA. When dovecot-lda is called in the context of a pipe script that is executed as the "vmail" user via the Dovecot Antispam plugin, dovecot-lda exits prematurely with status code 134. The dovecot deliver manual at http://wiki2.dovecot.org/LDA#logging states very clearly, "If

At a loss with antispan and imap_sieve
Hi, It seems I can?t google my way out of this one. I?m trying to set up spam/ham learning but getting nowhere. I tried Johannes Berg Antispam plugin, and syslog shows: Sep 20 22:22:06 proefmail imap: antispam: running mailtrain backend program /usr/lib/dovecot/retrain.sh Sep 20 22:22:06 proefmail imap: antispam: running mailtrain backend program /usr/lib/dovecot/retrain.sh Sep 20 22:22:06

Configure antispam plugin with private namespaces
When I use antispam plugin <http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Plugins/Antispam> with a folder that is outside a namespace, the plugin works great. But, if I configure it to watch a folder that is inside a namespace, the mailtrain backend does nothing. Does antispam plugin have support to namespaces? *This is my config:* namespace spam { type = private list = yes location =

antispam plugin pipe script seems not to be called when it "should be"
Hello, (Full "doveconf -n" output is at the end of this message.) I'm attempting to recreate a "recipe" I had used successfully for quite some time (in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS), which allowed me to train SpamAssassin's Bayes database when someone dragged an email message from one sub-folder of the account to another. I later tried to re-implement it (in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS),
