Issues with dovecot-antipsam plugin
Hello list,
I have a postfix 2.11 with dovecot 2.2.5 instance. I have configured and
installed anavisd-new to use Spamassassin. I want to train the filter. For
that i choose dovecot's antispam plugin using mailtrain backend. I compiled
and installed the latest version of the antispam plugin from
http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-antispam-plugin/rev/5ebc6aae4d7c
The configuration is below.

[OT]multi-master DNS
Bind does not have a method to do multi-master replication. All updates must be done via an intermediary service (database).
In our case, we've used containers and Consul for providing a highly available DNS service. A container will fire up and race for the master lock. It will dump the contents of the database into its named configurations and assuming it has the lock will assume the IP

Problems with losing D-Channel on
Hello all,
I got a problem at an asterisk server, with dropping calls, losing all
channels and reaktivating all channels and beeing back up.
This problem seems to occure randomly over the whole day, when it gots
traffic on the card.
After looking @ google I found several hints but none did work fine.
To avoid problems with the phone line (german E1) I called the provider, he

[OT]multi-master DNS
Hello all,
We have quite a bit of environment on "cloud". We are using our own
domain names. For this purpouse we stood up a BIND9 DNS instance on
Centos 7. And, this being the cloud, we enabled key based dynamic DNS
for instances to register themselves when they are spun-up. We have a
single master and multiple slaves. all is well, untill mater goes down
and we need to spin-up

install error
Hi,
I'm using Samba to try and connect through a Surecom hub with a TCP/IP
network running Win 98 machines and one Win 2000 machine. The 2000 machine
is set up as a plain workstation. Samba status and testparm report OK. But
neither Linux nor Windows recognise each other and the output for smbclient
-L hostname is:
NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
Session setup failed
Hope someone can help me

Is there a way to check if I have this problem?

How do you get to the GLOBALS/Advanced list?
The radio buttons don't seem to do anything, and nothing I tried refreshes the page with Advanced instead of Basic.

VLAN tagging problems
We are using Centos behind an F5 Bigip load balancer.
The linux box is using bonding and tagged VLAN's
Everything works fine except that when traffic is forwarded from the BigIP
to the linux box on the VLAN where the web server is running the linux box
returns the traffic on the wrong VLAN, It returns traffic on the lowest
ordered VLAN.
ie. here is a tcpdump on my load balancer showing

Dovecot service not responding after about a week of uptime
Hello,
The issue of dovecot becoming unresponsive happened again but after
several weeks instead of just one as before. As advised before I tried
to login through the IMAP port. Entering an incorrect password gets
rejected right away. Entering a correct password just hangs indefinitely.
Attached are a file with the IMAPS exchange and corresponding lines in
logs and another file with the

Software Offloading Performance Issue on increasing VM's (TSO enabled ) pushing traffic
Hi,
Problem-
Offloading (in Software) for VM generated packets ( TSO enabled in VM's )
degrades severely with increase in VM's on a host.

compute node-
- % offloaded packets coming out of VM's ( TSO enabled ) on tap port /

Version controlled (git) Maildir generated by Dovecot
Hi Everybody,
I'd like to start archiving e-mails by moving them to a server with running Dovecot.
I installed "dovecot-core" and "dovecot-imapd" (version 2.3.4.1) on Debian 10.
One of a few configurations I made is to use Maildir:
# grep '^mail_location = ' /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-mail.conf
mail_location = maildir:~/Maildir
I successfully moved some e-mails (at

SNMP issues since 5.6 upgrade
Hi there...
I scanned the archives and did some Google'ing ... can find some references
to these errors but didn't find a solution. This started when upgrading
some servers from 5.5 to 5.6 release.
It's net-snmp creating a lot of errors in the /var/log/messages suddenly. I
do believe this is only happening on 64 bit installations but not 100% sure
yet...
