strata -- really slow performance
I'm a bit confused why the following command is taking an extrodinarily long time (> 2-3 hours) to run on an 3.06ghz iMac (brand new). I'm trying to do a stratified random sample, drawing only a single value per UniqueID from the patch_summary data frame: uniqueids <- unique(patch_summary$UniqueID) uniqueids_stratasize <- c(1:length(uniqueids))*0+1

Error writing CDR
Hi All I have dozens of these messages on CLI complaining about database connection and error writing CDR to disk. The curious thing is I can find them all inside the database. I "selected" them using uniqueid and manually compared each column with the cdr_adaptive_odbc.c error line. "mysqlcheck -a -e -v DBase" and "mysqlcheck -c -e -v DBase" both returned OK for

Unique id used for call recording missing from CDR data for transferred call
Hello, I have an application that needs to record outgoing calls. It's running on Asterisk 1.4.18, with CDR data stored in MySQL. Outgoing calls are recorded based on their uniqueid. When outgoing calls are placed, there is a line like this on my extensions.conf: exten => _.,n,MixMonitor(/var/spool/asterisk/monitor/${UNIQUEID}.gsm) For regular outgoing calls, this works fine. The

Is uniqueid/sequence a safe CDR table primary key ?
Hi, When dealing with CDR SQL tables, I always added an auto-incremented cdr_id key as a primary key, just in case provided uniqueid key went wrong. Now I'm facing a situation where I need to insert into a database's table and from the dialplan, a reference to the CDR record which is currently processed. So my questions are: 1. Can uniqueid/sequence (or uniqueid/sequence/calldate)

Some problems with mysql CDR
Hello, We have finally upgraded to Asterisk 1.4, however we've run into two issues that weren't occurring before the upgrade. Issue #1: We're an outgoing call center and need to record all calls. We use the uniqueid field in the CDR to match with the recording, which we labeled with {UNIQUEID} in MixMonitor. For some reason, the uniqueid is not correct in the CDR. Here is the

CDR of calls transferred via IAX[2]
Let's say i have a network of * boxes connected via IAX, one of them is a "switch", one or more are the "gateways". - An IAX[2] "customer" register himself on the "switch" (and gets an accountcode for te purpose of cdr) - The customer places a call to the "switch", the switch does some magic and decides which "gateway" the call

AMI getting related channels in Ringing state
Issuing the AMI Status command results in a list of active channels. But how to figure out which channels are related before the call is answered? 2 channels below are somehow associated, but how can I be 100% sure they are related in order to implement a redirect of the incoming call to another phone ("attended" call pickup respecting call/pickupgroups). Uniqueid seems to be a

Non-matching linkedid on CDR Records [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]
Hi all, Just thought I'd update this thread in case anyone else is Googling trying to find out how to do this... I found the solution to my problem to be to use the IAXVAR() function to pass the accountcode between the Asterisk boxen and update the CHANNEL(accountcode) with that variable. Thanks to Richard @ Digium for the reply that clarified my misunderstanding. Calum On Wed, 2018-10-03

CDR in an MySQL-Database
Hi list! I'd like to save all information about calls (CDR) in a MySQL-Database. I created the DB and a user for Asterisk on a separate server, then I configured my cdr_mysql.conf so: [global] hostname=192.168.10.3 dbname=asterisk table=cdr password=MYSECRET user=asterisk port=3306 and my cdr.conf so: [general] enable=yes unanswered = yes safeshutdown=yes [mysql] usegmtime=no

Non-matching linkedid on CDR Records [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]
Hi asterisk-users, We have recently moved to the 13.x branch of Asterisk from 11.x, and we're trying to correlate CDR records from multiple-legs for billing purposes. As part of this change we have added 'linkedid' to our CDR table schema in an attempt to join the multiple records into one billable record. The call path can be simplified as (transport types in brackets): SIP

Error saving cdr at h exten in Asterisk13
Dears, I need to save some information on userfield when calls end in Asterisk13, but I have two error cases: 1. With endbeforehexten=no in cdr.conf, I have a registry in cdr, but userfield is not set. 2. With endbeforehexten=yes, I have two lines in cdr, one with duration, src e dst correct, and a second line with userfield setting and dst h. I am using cdr_odbc.conf, with Asterisk11.14.0 it
