Remove Win2008R2 from Domain, remove missing DC from domain
Hi! I'm almost done with a migration from Win2k to Samba4. To get this going I had to install a Win2008R2 Server as an intermediate server, now I want to get rid of it. I found a bug that Win2008R2 can not be demoted from Samba Domain - so I think I've to remove it somehow else. But I couldn't find anything about that in the docs and on google. unavailableCriticalExtension (12)
I am attempting to set up AWS Directory Services to connect with our Samba 4 AD servers, but it is not working. Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to get Wireshark to copy and paste it all to plain-text. Does anyone have any hints as to

So I added DC and DNS role to one of our windows 2008R2, and joined it to our domain. Everything's fine at this point. Then I wanted transfer the 5 FSMO role to windows. Error removing Windows DC from AD
Hi, I'm preparing to move a small business environment away from Windows-based AD (Windows Server 2012R2, Domain and Forest downgraded to Win2008R2 level) to Samba. So far in my lab environment joining Samba as a DC works, including DNS and Sysvol replication. OS: Debian 9 Samba versions 4.5.12 (Debian repository) and 4.8.2 (latest release compiled from source), same behavior on both
