miserable time with Cisco ATA186
I'm having a horrible experience getting a Cisco ATA-186 to work with *.
I can make calls from the ATA with no problems. However, incoming calls
make the ATA ring once, and then the call is disconnected. I have no
problems with my Sipura 2000 or my Grandstream phones.
I am running 2.16.1 sip code on the ATA 186. Neither * nor the ATA is
behind a NAT. They are both on public IP addresses

EOF within quoted string
Yes. I tried that already. Not straightforward.
data <- read.csv("20_newsgroups.csv",fill=TRUE,as.is=T,header=F, quote="", sep=",", encoding="UTF-8")
This line does read it haphazardly. The emails in the column are split into multiple columns and there are several columns with just ?NA?. Totally 202 columns.
And then I removed columns with NA?s and

Winbind syslog errors and Domain Local Groups
Hello all.
I'm relatively new to Samba, and haven't been able to track down a
solution to this particular problem.
I use Samba/Winbind to authenticate FreeBSD machines against a
Windows 2003 Active Directory. That all works fine. The problem is
that groups in the AD of type "Security Group - Domain Local" are
causing winbindd a lot of grief. Every time the winbindd daemon is

pdbedit not working as documented
I have am hitting a wall with pdbedit, as shown below.
Any workarounds would be greatly appreciated.
I am encountering the inability to change any users (profile) SID on Samba
3.x for Linux and BSD, which causes the accounts to no longer recognize
their local Samba 2 profiles once they join Samba 3 domain. If I add a new
user and pdbedit -a user -U SID it ignores the -U.
The old profiles appear

Hey all,
I'm running Samba 3.0.11 on HP-UX 11i. My only recent change was moving
from smbpasswd to tdbsam, but this issue has suddenly cropped up:

[LLVMdev] Decoding munged function names
Hi folks,
I'm currently extending my model checker to collect coverage
information, and as part of this I'm finding a need to get a more
friendly version of munged C++ identifiers than the name used by the
linker. For example, though internally, something like '_Z7thread1Pv'
is fine as an identifier, I'd like to be able to give the user
something more readable. Since

PDC: Strange username translations...
Hi,
i'm running a samba PDC on samba 3.0 and just had to reinstall the server
because of a dead cpu causing corruption.
luckily i had complete backups of the samba-files, so i copied them back to
/etc/samba, /var/lib/samba and /var/cache samba. (tdb-files)
i had one workstation (xp) removed from the domain and wanted to add it
again, but then the station always gives me an error that i

Hi, I have a strange project...
I have a java application that uses JNI (Java Native Methods) that allow
it to use a windows DLL.
I would very much like to run this application under linux using wine to
run java and link to the DLL. I think it will work but am having trouble
with the wine configuration. In particular:
The windows version of java running under wine starts but when it trys to
load a class, it first trys to

serious problem with torque
Hi, folks,
The other admin updated torque without testing it on one machine, and
we had Issues. The first I knew was when a user reported qstat

Some hint reading password expiration data...
In my current ''production'' NT-like domain (samba 4.2, OpenLDAP
backend), password policies seems to ''get written'' to user data.
EG, if i set:

and i change my password, 'Password must change' have a meningful value,
eg 90 days more then the last password change:
