Any experiences with newer WD Red drives?
Might be slightly OT as it isn't necessarily a CentOS related issue.
I've been using WD Reds as mdraid components which worked pretty well
for non-IOPS intensive workloads.
However, the latest C7 server I built, ran into problems with them on
on a Intel C236 board (SuperMicro X11SSH) with tons of "ata bus error
write fpdma queued". Googling on it threw up old suggestions to

btrfs-progs
Hello World!
I''ve just done a git pull from
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/mason/btrfs-progs-unstable.git
and looking at git log, the last commit was on Wed Oct 6 09:53:38 2010,
nearly a year ago. Is this project still maintained?

stop reading. I started building a prototype to get better hands on
experience and I have run into two simple issues that I am hoping will be a
quick answer for some of you experts out there.

Hi All,
I''m implementing the ferret search engine on my railspace project.
In my User and Info model, I have line that reads:
acts_as_ferret :fields => [''username'', ''email'']
This initially generates a find_by_contents which is added to the
community contoller:
@users = User. find_by_contents(query, :limit => :all)
THis returned a method

Marvell, IOMMU/VT-d, and pci-phantom
Hi, guys.
I''ve been trying to use the pci-phantom command line options to xen so
as to work around the hardware issue with the Marvell 88SE91xx SATA
controllers in IOMMU ([Intel:] VT-d) mode, but I cannot seem to get my
head around it. From having had a glance here:
http://xenbits.xen.org/docs/unstable/misc/xen-command-line.html
and in particular the syntax described as such:

Yet more printing troubles
I've gone through the docs and the how to's. I've installed a printer
under cups, in fact under cups it was a breeze. Its a Sharp MX4501. I
have a ppd file for it, it works great from my linux workstation.
I've set up a printer share under samba on my domain controller. The
windows machines find it, download the driver and then give the error:
