Hi, I have a server at Hetzner and something strange happend. First, I installed FreeBSD 10.0-BETA3 (amd64) via their FreeBSD 9.2-RELEASE rescue system, that's ok. I had to configure the network by using the em driver -> em0 interface. But suddenly, the network was lost. After an ACPI reboot, nothing. Going to the vKVM show me the system didn't detected em0 anymore but an nVidia

10.0-BETA4 (upgraded from 9.2-RELEASE) zpool upgrade -> boot failure

I have two servers, with very different hardware (on is with soft raid and the other have not) and after a zpool upgrade, no way to get the server booting. Do I miss something when upgrading? I cannot get the error message for the moment. I reinstalled the raid server under Linux and the other

Booting problem after update, how to track order of starting services
Hi. I have updated system/server that worked for a long time. It was upgrade from 6.4 to latest. After restart, system freezes after most/all of the daemons are booted. Re : Custom axis
Maybe I do not explain well what I would like to do. I do not want to change the labels of the axis, but the scale. What I want is a general procedure for changing the scale. Its like using a logarithmic scale on a plot. Labels are the same, but the increases of x along the x-axis are defined by a known monotone and continuous function. RE: Problem booting fully virtualized (Intel VT) 32b gueston XEN32 unstable
You need to add dom0_mem=XXXm to xen or scale back the memory of domain0 with using "xm mem-set <DomId> <Mem>" command. Your domain0 used up almost all physical mem. >total_memory : 1023 >free_memory : 62 Thanks Yunfeng >-----Original Message----- >From: xen-devel-bounces@lists.xensource.com

Hi, I'm Florent BERANGER, from Flonix ( http://www.flonix.com ). After several tests, we have found that Syslinux 3.00 pre9 is no longer compatible with USB stick booting. We are *days* away from the official 0.3.13 release, which will be followed quickly by 0.4 code named Enterprisey Edition 1.2. This latest pre-release update closes off the last of the annoying bugs, and adds one very nasty feature people should check out before we release. Read about Katanas below. ** This release doesn''t have win32 yet. That''ll be uploaded Monday. ** WHAT

Reading characters using read.table()
Hello, I need to read a vector containing names of different variables from a text file (a unique column). Among them one is called "T". When I use the function read.table with default arguments and when I call the element of the data frame corresponding to name of this variable it returns me the logical value "TRUE" whereas I was expected it to return the character

zpool labelclear destroys GPT data
When i use zpool labelclear, it wipes the whole disk including gpt data. So the whole disk is empty and i need to create the gpt partitions again. Is this supposed to work like this? The man page suggests that it only wipes the ZFS metadata. zpool labelclear [-f] device Removes ZFS label information from the specified device. The device must not be part of an active pool

ReMarkdown.css makes HTML look like Markdown text
Hello everyone on the list, I?m borrowing a bit of your time in order to present a little CSS experiment I?ve been working on: a stylesheet which gives a Markdown-like aspect to HTML elements, especially those elements that the Markdown syntax generates in the first place. This means > signs for blockquotes, # signs or underlines for titles, etc. I wrote a mini-website for it:
