Tickless dom0
Hello everyone,
I''ve always wondered - would dom0 be better off with a tickless kernel
or not? In other words, can someone explain which choice to make with
regards to CONFIG_NO_HZ?

minimum card for dahdi timing source ?
Hi All,
for a vicidial server which uses only voip,
which is the minimum telephony card which would provide the required clock timing source for conferences to work properly ?
Maybe the Digium TDM410PLF card
without any daughter card
would do the job ?
Thank you very much for supporting.
Have a nice week-end,
Mike

Xen and tickless Linux
Hello,
I am trying to build a custom kernel 2.6.24 from ubuntu with xen dom0
support.
Does Xen support a tickless system (CONFIG_TICK_ONESHOT=y) and the
realtime features of this kernel (CONFIG_PREEMPT=Y instead of
CONFIG_PREEMP_VOLUNTARY)?
Everytime, I set these options while configuring the kernel, the two
settings are not regarded during kernel compilation.
I also tried to build the

DAHDi installation problem
Hello List,
What version of DAHDi should be installed for CentOS Kernel version 2.16.18-194.el5.
We do not have access to yum in our network, so we need to install a specific version with respect to kernel version.
Or, what update to be downloaded and applied to CentOS kernel to install a specific version of DAHDi.

dahdi module disappears from AsteriskNow after kernel update
I updated an AsteriskNow system to 2.6.18-194.26.1.el5 with yum update.
Upon reboot dahdi modules cannot be found. In yum.log I see that
kmod-mISDN, kmod-dahdi-linux and kmod-dahdi-linux-fwload-vpmadt032 were
all deleted during the update.
I reinstalled the deleted packages but the dahdi modules can still not
be found. They do seem to be under /lib/modules/2.6.18-194.17.4.el5,
but no for the
