converting from maildir to mdbox ?
I?m considering moving from maildir to mdbox, but don?t quite see how I should do the conversion with minimal downtime. Our userdb is ldap, and the we use this setting to point to the users maildirectory: user_attrs = mailMessageStore=mail=maildir:%$:INDEX=/indexes/%1u/%1.1u/%u,mailQuota=quota_rule=*:storage=%$ i.e. every user has a "mailMessageStore" attribute in LDAP that points to

Gateway question
Hi There is a Centos 7 up-to-date box with 2 interfaces, let's say 192.168.1.12 - enp2s0, 192.168.1.13 on enp3s0. Default gateway on enp2s0. The gateway is pfsense, IP is 192.168.1.1 with 2 WAN connections On the gateway the outgoing traffic is routed by source ip to different WAN, 192.168.1.12 to WAN1 and 192.168.1.13 to WAN2 On the centos box are set all the route and routing rules:

Linking mdbox directories
Hi Timo/list, We have a scenario in which some email accounts on dovecot (stored in mdbox, separate paths for indexes, email, ALT storage and also using SIS for attachments, LDAP directory) need their names changed. I know we could just change the mail LDAP attribute (and leave mailMessageStore alone) so they keep the same directories on disk, but this would throw a spanner in the works for

documentation for configuring folder redirection
I believe that once you have roaming profiles configured, all you need to do to configure folder redirection is set some registry keys. I'd like to turn that job over to our Windows sys admin. Can someone provide me with their favorite documentation for configuring folder redirection? Keep in mind I am passing this link along to a Windows sys admin. Our backend is samba 3.6.3 if it

Dovecot 1.2.+
The Dovecot version is 1.2.8 and i am using an LDAP for a user database. The problem is following... i would like to use a quota dictionary backend from file rather than sql proxy for some reasons. Is it possible to get the full path for dovecot-quota file location from LDAP like from mail variable (/mailboxes/storage_01/domain.org/u/us/use/user/dbox/dovecot-quota)? /etc/dovecot/dovecot-ldap.conf

Quota less mailbox with mdbox
Good morning everyone, I have a little doubt about setting a quotaless mailbox with mdbox. Currently we have dovecot 2.0.10 with Maildir as mailbox system. We want to migrate to mdbox. The migration is simple and easy, but there are some configuration settings we cannot set to work properly. In our dovecot with Maildir we have the namespace INBOX with certain quota and another one without
