mysql module v 1.0 mysql_grant - database_grant
Hi, I''m using mysql module version 0.6.1 and I wanted to upgrade. After reading a little I saw that migrating from v 1 to 2 must be studied, so I decided to upgrde to version 1. BUT, I''ve seen a couple of warnings on my first run and I''m updating my code, but I''ve found that my old sysntax for database_grant is not compatible with mysql_grant. So, if I had

Problems granting privileges with puppetlabs/mysql
First off, I''m not sure if I should be asking questions about puppetlabs modules here, if not, I apologise... I''m trying to at least setup my mysql replication user through the mysql module, but I seem to be unable to divine the correct way to do this. I''ve tried a number of different variations, but my user doesn''t get the repl_slave_priv on my user

puppet DB providers
Hello, What would you think of moving database, database_grant and database_user types and providers from puppetlabs-mysql to its own module (puppetlabs-dbproviders for example) so that we can develop providers for others RDBMS ? I''d like to develop providers for postgresql, so I think it makes sense to put this types/providers in its own module. best regards, Mickaël Canévet --

The way Puppet installs things fail
Basically, the way puppet installs things things with /usr/bin/apt-get -q -y -o DPkg::Options::=--force-confold install <package_name> fails due to authentication WARNING: The following packages cannot be authenticated But if I do it from an ssh console normally, using apt-get install <package_name> it works fine without issues. Is there a way to change how puppet uses the

Puppet fails to install package, whilst it's okay to do manually
Dear all, I''m seeing this strange thing: When I run "*puppet agent -td*" on the node (Nagios, in this example case), puppet fails to install Nagios3 (on Debian) with this: Debug: Executing ''/usr/bin/dpkg-query -W --showformat ${Status} ${Package} > ${Version}\n nagios3'' > Debug: Executing ''/usr/bin/apt-get -q -y -o >

CentOS version of /srv/www/htdocs ?
I'm installing NagiosQL on CentOS 4.5 and am trying to follow these instructions http://www.nagiosql.org/wiki/Documentation "....decompress the nagiosql-*.tar.gz to a directory accessible by your webserver (e.g. /srv/www/htdocs)" But since there is now /srv/www/htdocs folder on my installation, I'm not sure what to do on CentOS instead. Any advice? -------------- next part

cross server dependancies
I have an application package that needs to be installed on certain application servers but before it can be installed, database access has to be setup on a database server. I have figured out how to export a resource on the app server that gets collected and realized on the database server, but I cannot figure out how to make the package on the app server depend on the exported resource

Problems with my simple write conf files method
I have been creating conf files and similar with the following method that I picked up (I think from psotfix docs): cat <<EOF>>/etc/aliases || exit 1 root: youremail EOF See: http://medon.htt-consult.com/Centos7-armv7.html But with postfixadmin I stumbled onto a problem. The following: cat <<EOF>/usr/share/postfixadmin/config.local.php || exit 1 <?php

Pass ordering - GVN vs. loop optimizations
Hi, This is Ariel from the Rust team again. I am having another pass ordering issue. Looking at the pass manager at https://github.com/llvm-mirror/llvm/blob/7034870f30320d6fbc74effff539d946018cd00a/lib/Transforms/IPO/PassManagerBuilder.cpp (the early SimplifyCfg now doesn't sink stores anymore! I can't wait until I can get to use that in rustc!) I find that the loop optimization group

[LLVMdev] IR Passes and TargetTransformInfo: Straw Man
Hi, Sean: I'm sorry I lie. I didn't mean to lie. I did try to avoid making a *BIG* change to the IPO pass-ordering for now. However, when I make a minor change to populateLTOPassManager() by separating module-pass and non-module-passes, I saw quite a few performance difference, most of them are degradations. Attacking these degradations one by one in a piecemeal manner is wasting

[LLVMdev] [Polly] Move Polly's execution later
Here is an update about moving Polly later. 1. Why does Polly generate incorrect code when we move Polly immediately after the loop rotating pass? It is mainly caused by a wrong polly merge block. When Polly detects a valid loop for Polyhedral transformations, it usually introduces a new basic block "polly.merge_new_and_old" after the original loop exit block. This new basic block

Only running database_grant the first time.
I''m using puppet through Vagrant to manage my dev VM, and as part of that I have a few database grants that I run after creating users, but when I subsequently run vagrant up or provision these grants fail (because of some changes I make to the mysql config after they have been created.) I''m using database_grant to execute the grants, but there doesn''t seem to be a

Loop Unrolling Fail in Simple Vectorized loop
Hi all, Attached herewith is a simple vectorized function with loops performing a simple shuffle. I want all loops (inner and outer) to be unrolled by 2 and as such used -unroll-count=2 The inner loops(with k as the induction variable and having constant trip counts) unroll fully, but the outer loop with (j) fails to unroll. The llvm code is also attached with inner loops fully unrolled. To

Problems with my simple write conf files method
I have never used this method per se, but in general in any script if you want to preserve the $ (dollar sign) or variable name you must use a backslash to preserve it. For example change your $CONF to \$CONF.? The $CONF should then be printed into your conf file. Case insensitive user names
I am trying to set up the Dovecot pop3 server for some virtual hosting I am doing and it is going well, I am generating a passwd file that points dovecot to the virtual users mailspool. The only thing that I don't have working is that my current pop3 server (NTMail) has case insensitve usernames. Dovecot doesn't. I was hoping there was just an option to turn on, but I didn't see
