Kernel 2.6.32-358.14.1.el6 boot fail
Hello All:
I installed 2.6.32-358.14.1.el6.centos.plus.x86_64 today and had some
boot issues.
After rebooting, the system locked immediately after the Asus
motherboard logo. I thought at first that it was a hardware issue
because it didn't appear that grub even loaded. I wasn't even able to
get into the BIOS to change the boot order so it appeared that it was
a hardware issue. I reset

Re bug 0006319
Hi, folks,
I think it's just been since we did the latest upgrade and rebooted the
other day that I've started seeing the error described in the bug -
console spitting out "kernel: do_IRQ: 8.65 No irq handler for vector
(irq -1)" occasionally - with the current std. kernel:

CentOS 6.4 tcp_fatretrans_alert causes panic
Hi all,
Our kernel is 2.6.32-358.14.1.x86_64, recently dozens of them panicked,
since it's been OK for a long time and the problem emerged all of a sudden,
I'm not sure if an upgrade caused this problem. Here's what I got from
backtracing:

Hot resize virtio-scsi device with multipath device backend
Hi all,
I'm currently testing virtio-scsi on EL6.4. I've seen that we can resize scsi disk without restarting the guest for qcow files backend for example (this point is well documented). I want to know if it's possible to "hot resize" a multipath device attached to a guest via virtio-scsi. I use multipath device hosted to a SAN array to store data used on virtual guests.

Yet the load within the vm is in the regions of:

Everything is reporting OK on both the hypervisor & guest, guest is a qcow2 image on

touchpad problem?
Hello Ahmed,
Nothing else besides kernel has changed? I'd reboot and revert to previous
kernel to test the issue.

Load goes up imap-login
Every so often recently I've seen the load on my heavily under-used
dovecot server (1 mailbox) rise up to 1
A top shows imap-login to causing the issue.
I have checked /var/log/secure, /var/log/maillog, /var/log/messages and
cannot see anything unusual.
Anybody else seen something like this?

Setting Up LVS to Load Balance DNS
Greetings, all:
OS: CentOS 6.4 x86_64
Kernel: 2.6.32-358.14.1
I could use some assistance with setting up pulse to load balance my dns
servers. I've configured tcp and udp port 53 with the piranha gui, set up
arptable rules on the real servers and added the virtual ip to the bond0
interface on the real servers, but I'm still having no luck in getting
things going. A dig against the

" Message from syslogd at localhost at Aug 27 08:57:53 ...

What is it complaining about?
What should I do about it?
I got some information from dmesg.
It mentions IRQ 17, but the only error is

Issues with dovecot-antipsam plugin
Hello list,
I have a postfix 2.11 with dovecot 2.2.5 instance. I have configured and
installed anavisd-new to use Spamassassin. I want to train the filter. For
that i choose dovecot's antispam plugin using mailtrain backend. I compiled
