CID 1091471, Regression caused by 7c1de0038895cbc75ebd0caffc5b0f3f03c5ad51 This appears to be a typo which causes check_existence() to unconditionally return 1 in all cases. [PATCH RFC 5/8] ns16550: MMIO adjustments

[PATCH 6/8] ns16550: PCI initialization adjustments
Besides single-port serial cards, also accept multi-port ones and such providing mixed functionality (e.g. also having a parallel port). Reading PCI_INTERRUPT_PIN before ACPI gets enabled generally produces an incorrect IRQ (below 16, whereas after enabling ACPI it frequently would end up at a higher one), so this is useful (almost) only when a system already boots in ACPI mode. [PATCH] ns16550: fix poll handling regression
Prior to c/s 23811:f1349a968a5a LSR_THRE was checked only once, while there it got promoted into the surrounding loop''s condition. Since that bit may not clear for an extended period of time (i.e. when no new output is generated), it must not be used in this way indefinitely. [PATCH 001/001] core/serial: Add support for serial output functions.
This patch adds support for serial output functions. It may be useful for debugging purposes since you can separate ordinary outputs from debugging dumps. Just add "serial.h", and use either serial_print or serial_puts as you would use printf and puts respectivelly. For QEMU, you only need to specify the option -serial stdio. If you use another VM, find how you can redirect the serial

[PATCH v3 0/7] support for cubieboard2 / sunxi processors
See http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/xen/devel/297170 for some information on how to get this going. I''ve rebased and addressed the review comments. With this rebase I''ve picked up some patches from Julien which were required to do things properly, so the gic v7 and device blacklisting patches have been changed to use the proper mechanisms. Previously I was able to boot

[PATCH v8 8/5] Add UART support and arch timer initialization for OMAP5
Since OMAP UART has a few distinct features than common 8250 UART, I re-implemented its driver rather than porting it based on ns16550.c. There are mainly two big differences between the implementations. First, OMAP UART introduces the concept of register access mode, which divides the register map into seperated space. Switching the access mode is then necessary when configuring it. Second, THRE

As before several of the patches are not to be applied because they can be done better using infrastructure from Julien''s "Allow Xen to boot with a raw Device Tree" patch. Lastest upgrade of smb on RedHat doesn't work
The latest upgrade of from samba 3.0.9 to samba 3.0.10 has caused problems on my samba server. On the Windows computers you can no longer see the WINS server ( the RedHat server) in the Network Neighborhood, say server1. The printers that we have added through the network neighborhood no longer work. One has to search for the full name of the server ( server1.xxx.xxx.edu) with the

[GIT PULL] elflink ldlinux
Hi, These patches contain support for some features that are already in Syslinux 4 but weren't working properly on the elflink branch. It's another step closer to feature parity with Syslinux 4. Having to jump through the comboot API for localboot support is less than ideal and I'll eventually fix that, probably when we move a big chunk of code from asm to C. Also, there's a

PAE mode mismatch in Xen (xen=no Dom0=yes)
Hi, I just added 32GB memory in my system and wanted Xen to see that memory, so enabled PAE in xen0 and XenU. I did a make menuconfig in xen0 and xenU, then did a make in xen-unstable and a make install. Whilebooting this kernel, I get the above error PAE mode mismatch. I looked under xen/include/asm-x86/processor.h has #define X86_CR4_PAE defined and so does cpufeature.h have this defined.
