All nodes stopped reporting to puppet enterprise console
My install was working for a couple of months until I rebooted my puppet
server. The clients do not report an error when I run puppet agent -t.
I''ve attempted to remove certificates and renew. The clients get new
certificates, but the console still does not update. Even the puppet
server itself is not updating as a client. After reboot the only thing I
have noticed that changed

Puppet Windows exec
Hi,
Is it correct that it''s not possible to excecute Windows Commands
directly with the puppet run?
For example:
exec { ''ExecCreatedFolder'':
command => "mkdir C:\PuppetOrdner\ExecCreatedFolder",
}
I allways have to bind it with a .bat file right?
file { ''c:/PuppetFolder/puppettest.bat'':

Modifying a FACT Value In a Manifest
In my network every subnets default gateway is X.X.X.1. That router
gateway is always running ntpd which I want to give be default as the ntp
server in every hosts ntp.conf.
Since there is no official "default gateway" fact yet, what I want to be
able to do in my manifest is take the $ipaddress fact and turn it into the
gateway for that subnet.
For example...
IP = 10.1.1.12

Puppet-Dashboard nodes showing up as unreported
Hello,
I have followed the documentation at
http://docs.puppetlabs.com/dashboard/manual/1.2/bootstrapping.html to try
to setup dashboard but after I manually add a node it shows up as
unreported. The agent has successfully completed a very basic catalog run
just adding a file to the file-system.

Delete directory contents if this is older then ..
Hello,
I would like to clean up some directories (linux) and remove some old
contents which is older than e.g. 7 days.
One way is to setup cron job (of course using puppet ...) which clears
these directories.
Is there any other puppet recommended way of doing that ?
Regards

Errors when running 'puppet agent --test' command
Hello,
First of all I am new to the Puppet technology. I am trying to get my
puppet agent (windows) to reach my puppet master (Linux) server.
In this tutorial:

It claims to test your puppet agent you need to use the ''puppet agent
--test'' command. My result when I tried this is:

Problem with Puppet upgrade 2.7 => 3.0 on Centos 5 using puppetlabs dependencies repo.
Hi,
I have a problem with puppet upgrade from 2.7 to 3.0 on centos 5.
I have included the puppet dependencies repo for el5
(http://yum.puppetlabs.com/el/5/dependencies/x86_64/) to upgrade my ruby
version to 1.8.7.
However a "yum install ruby" will give me ruby 1.8.5 from the centos base
repo.
If i disable the base repo i get ruby 1.8.7 but ruby-libs has depsolving
problems - it
