btrfs goes read only after balance
Hi everybody,
we are using a btrfs RAID 1 with four 2TB hard drives (WD Caviar green
and one Red) on a Debian 7.2 with Kernel 3.12.0
Last week I replaced a broken Harddrive with btrfs replace ...
After that I wanted to balance the filesystem and get a
''Speicherzugriffsfehler'' (Segmentation fault). After that I want to
reboot the system and nothing happens, it hangs at a btrfs

smbclient ends in NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED error
I have applied the changes as suggested. After restarting the server, smbclient-command worked! But after I restarted the Samba Client with „/etc/init.d/samba restart“ I was once again confronted with the same problem! Again, only another server restart did the trick. Now I am facing this problem constantly. As soon as I restart, this command among others won’t work without displaying an error

Xorg indefinitely hangs in kernelspace
Hello!
I'm writing to report a crash in the QXL / DRM code in the Linux kernel.
I originally filed the issue on LaunchPad and more details can be found
there, although I doubt whether these details are useful.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1813620
I first experienced these issues with:
* Ubuntu 18.04 (probably kernel 4.15.something)

raid10 data fs full after degraded mount
Hello,
on a fs with 4 disks, raid 10 for data, one drive was failing and has
been removed. After reboot and ''mount -o degraded...'', the fs looks
full, even though before removal of the failed device it was almost
80% free.

btrfs raid1 on 16TB goes read-only after "btrfs: block rsv returned -28"
Dear Devs,
I have x4 4TB HDDs formatted with:
mkfs.btrfs -L bu-16TB_0 -d raid1 -m raid1 /dev/sd[cdef]
/etc/fstab mounts with the options:
noatime,noauto,space_cache,inode_cache
All on kernel 3.8.13.
Upon using rsync to copy some heavily hardlinked backups from ReiserFS,
I''ve seen:
The following "block rsv returned -28" is repeated 7 times until there
is a call trace

Hey Thomas,
Are you able to double-check that bisect? I'm not at all sure how
that particular commit could trigger the issue you're seeing. Some of
the others, certainly. It might be worth trying a couple of times
before marking something as "good", in case

cifs mounts fail after kernel upgrade
Upgrading Debian testing's linux-image from 3.2.46-1 to 3.9.6-1 causes
cifs mounts via fstab or command line to fail with return code -38
"function not implemented". Reverting back to the old kernel yields
working cifs mounts. The only option I use is a credentials file.
Attempting the mount without this option does not work either. Has
anyone else seen this?
Thanks,
Dale
