similar to: spamassassin with postfix/dovecot

I wonder if anyone is actually running SpamAssassin with Postfix/Amavisd-new under CentOS-6.4 . I have followed the instructions in <http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Amavisd> but as far as I can see SpamAssassin is not working. I should say that I do not understand from this document what is meant to happen to spam. I understand that a Spam header is added, but what actually happens to email

Dovecot is working fine, but I want to deal with spam email. Since Ned is taking a little break from the Amavisd page, I would like to help contribute. There were a few things I'd like to add, like GTUBE/EICAR testing and SELinux config lines. (I've only added the epel repository, as I had a conflict when I added rpmforge as well.) Everything seems to be working fine, except that while spam is being marked as ***Spam***, it is ending up in ~/Maildir/cur/ .
