retransmitting NAT
Hi, What does retransmitting NAT means? I have a client that uses SPA 942, and his phone sometimes cannot be called. i did a sip sebug and i keep on seeing retransmitting NAT. on the realtime it shows that it is registered, so when i try to call it , asterisk thinks it is still online so it tries to reach it instead of saying it's unavailable, [Oct 9 11:10:33] -- Called 103100 it

Problem using SPA-2000 behind NAT
Hello all, I have a new Sipura SPA-2000 that I am trying to configure beind a NAT. The SPA is able to register to the asterisk server without a problem and the SPA can make calls to other extension that are not behind a NAT. However, when I try to call the SPA from another extension, the extension connected to the SPA rings, the user at the SPA answers, and there is no audio in either

Sipura SPA-941 not available after Asterisk & Freepbx upgrade
I'm experiencing a problem with a Sipura SPA-941 not available for incoming calls after Asterisk & Freepbx upgrade. I can dial out with the phone gto any other internal or external ext. It is registered with the Asterisk server. When I dial the Sipura directly from any other extension, it goes directly to vm. I have other Sip softphones that are working fine. A sip debug when calling the

Asterisk and a SPA3000 behind NAT peer registration
Hi, I have a little situation here :( Perhaps somebody can give me a hand with it. I have an Asterisk working, and in another office, a Sipura SPA-3000. I configured the SPA and I have the extension working, the incomming trunk working, but the outgoing trunk (peer) does not work. The issue is that I have a dynamic IP where the SPA is, and neither the SPA nor

Wierd problem
I have asterisk setup in my house and I have a SPA-3102-NA and a PAP2T. This is probably just me not understanding what is going on, but I was playing around last night and I used the sip unregister <extension> command on the CLI. I thought the boxes would re-register when their registration interval was up. This is not what is happening. Now the devices are failing to register, even my

Sipura Behind NAT howto
I am trying to get a SPA-3000 to work behind NAT - for the sake of the exercice. The SPA is on the local network at the address 192.168.0.125 behind a NATted linux router. The machine I am trying to work with is a friend's (let's call it lolo.dyndns.org) and I've installed Asterisk 1.0.3 on it. I can see the SPA register but when I try to make an outbound call I get the message:

SPA-1001 behind NAT -- mucho hair pulling
I've got a Sipura SPA-1001 that I'm trying to get working with an Asterisk server that's on the public Internet, while the SPA-1001 is behind NAT. I did the first obvious thing and mapped ports 5060 and 10000 - 30000 to the local IP address of the SPA-1001. Tried numerous proxy settings, have all the NAT settings == yes. Registration seems to be happening; with sip debug on, I see

NAT issues
Hello, this isn't an Asterisk specific problem but I don't know who else to ask for help. This is my setup, it oftens finds double NAT situations: [Asterisk box] <-> [Firewall IPCop] <-INTERNET-> [Random Router] <-> [Softphone] In certain situations, when two or more client softphones use the port 5060 at the same time and try to register, the UDP translation state of

SPA-1001 behind NAT -> Internet Asterisk box -- BOUNTY!
I'm still unable to get my SPA-1001 to work behind NAT with an Asterisk box out on the Internet. It works fine to my local A@H box. I've tried... many things. I'm willing to pay a $250 bounty (PayPal preferred) to anyone who can help me get it working. Any Sipura experts out there? Eric.

SPA-2000 NAT Problems
I had a Grandstream 286 at my home hitting my Asterisk box at the office, all worked well and I received phone calls fine until the device just up and died. I replaced this unit with an SPA-2000 because I have been impressed with the Sipura devices and decided to use them for most of my needs in the future. Problem is that my phone attached to the device rings shortly after power up of the

A linksys SPA921 behind NAT and firewall
I've got someone sat in a home-office with an SPA921 behind NAT, and most probably a firewall. I've got a STUN-server running, and calling in from the SPA921 to our Asterisk box works fine - though I had to open the firewall for UDP traffic on port 10000-20000. Calling from our Asterisk to the SPA921 doesn't work. I'm guessing this is due to the NAT/firewall on the other side,

Help! - Double NAT issue
Hi folks. Please don't flame me but I've been googling around for days, read a tremendous amount, tried everything, and still no go. This is most definitely a typical newbie question. - I sure hope there's somebody(s) out there who'll humble themselves to help me out. I've set up an 'out of the box' basic Asterisk server running on Slackware Linux. - It basically
