[RFC][PATCH v2] Support a list of sockets on SSH_AUTH_SOCK
The idea behind this change is to add support for different "ssh-agents"
being able to run at the same time. It does not change the current
behaviour of the ssh-agent (which will set SSH_AUTH_SOCK just for
itself). Neither does it change the behaviour of SSH_AGENT_PID (which
still supports only one pid).
The new implementation will go through the list of sockets (which are
separated by a

Building a time series.
I have a need to build a time series and there are a couple of aspects about the time series object that are confusing me. First it seems that ts.union is not doing what I would expect. For example:
x0 <- rep(0,10)
x1 <- rep(1,10)
xt0 <- ts(x0, frequency=10)
xt1 <- ts(x1, frequency=10)
st2 <- ts.union(xt0, xt1)
> xt2
Time Series:
Start = c(1, 1)
End = c(1, 10)
Frequency = 10

Problems with packages fda and splines (PR#13263)
Full_Name: David D Degras
Version: 2.8.0
OS: Mac OS X
Submission from: (NULL) (128.135.239.11)
I have recently installed the version 2.8.0 of R along with package fda (v
2.0.2)
and its dependencies (including package splines v. 2.8.0).
Here are my problems:
1) The package splines should feature functions such a predict.bs,
predict.bSpline and such and it does not! I can make calls to bs, ns,

Patch: Add io.c functions, and vfat library
This is a continuation to the library creation effort for syslinux.
I added the necessary ops required to read partitions and sectors off
the disk. I'm using it with my com32 module. I did change the
interface for read_disk a bit, so it takes a disk_info argument. This
way I can maintain multiple instances of read handlers, for example if

Plot cumulative probability of beta-prime distribution
Hallo,
I need your help.
I fitted my distribution of data with beta-prime, I need now to plot the
Cumulative distribution. For other distribution like Gamma is easy:
x <- seq (0, 100, 0.5)
plot(x,pgamma(x, shape, scale), type= "l", col="red")
but what about beta-prime? In R it exists only pbeta which is intended only
for the beta distribution (not beta-prime)

fda Data2fd
I would like to create a functional data object where both domain and range are matrices.
My erroneous attempts are below.
Can you suggest corrections?
library(fda)
domain<-matrix(c(1,1.1,1.2,2,2.1,2.1,3,3.1,3.2,4,4.1,4.2,5,5.1,5.2), nrow = 5, ncol=3, byrow=TRUE)
range<-sin(domain)+matrix(rnorm(15,sd=0.1),nrow=5, ncol=3)
myfd<-Data2fd(argvals=domain, y=range)

Re: Alert: Steering Committee Reminder and Agenda
OK.
Have you had an opportunity to obtain the userid and password for the DEC
Chair at the FDP website? We have changes to make there on the site, i.e. new
officers.
or
The passcode on the DEC telephone, so that we can retrieve voice messages?

Samba not visible in NN with File and Print Services installed on W9x
Hi,
maybe I missed a recent "FDP" (Frequently described problem)in the list, but
maybe somebody can point me to the right direction. There were several
postings about not seeing Samba but none referred the the MS "File and Print
Services" on W9x clients being the cause of the trouble (Hope this is the
correct translation from German W9x).
I've got a Samba 2.0.5a with Suse

Problem connecting linux box to linux box in ad
Hi
I have a customer running 2 RedHat 7.3 servers. These are running to gether with w2k and w2k3
machines in an Active Directory.
I ran samba 2.0.7 and upgraded to 3.0.8 because of that the customer had to use restrict anonymous
= 2 in windows, that stops the IPC$ share to be seen by anonymous connections.
I configured Kerberos and could connect windows boxes to one of the linux boxes, the

simple generation of artificial data with defined features
Dear R-colleagues,
I am quite a newbie to R fighting my stupidity to solve a probably quite
simple problem of generating artificial data with defined features.
I am conducting a study of inter-observer-agreement in
child-bronchoscopy. One of the most important measures is Kappa
according to Fleiss, which is very comfortable available in R through
the irr-package.
