phantom(0) doesn't do what I expect it to [plotmath]
Hi,
I'm trying to make a legend with a justified list of numbers, so I
thought I would use phantom(0) to align the 3-digit numbers properly
with the 4-digit ones:
    legend(x, y, xjust=1, yjust=1, lty=c(1,2,3,4,5), adj=c(0,0.5),
           legend=expression(phantom(0)*300*plain(K),
                             phantom(0)*550*plain(K),
                             phantom(0)*830*plain(K),

Phantom Domain Master Browser
There's a phantom domain master browser showing up in my Samba nmbd.log
file.

I keep thinking that maybe it is left over in one of the files that I
transferred over from the old server to the new server and it isn't clearing
itself out. Is there a way to clear that and is it possible to have a
phantom browser fighting over the Domain from a copied over file?

I transferred all of the

phantom new mail (mailboxes keep on being reported as having new mail)
Hi,
I'm using dovecot 1.0_beta3 on Gentoo Linux, and am experiencing a
problem of what I call 'phantom mail'. This problem I have for a long
time (pre 1.0), but at the moment I'm using 1.0_beta3 and the problem
still is in there.
My setup is as follows:
- regular x86 box
- running Exim and Dovecot
- Exim saves new mail in maildir format in a local filesystem

phantom incomming calls from asterisk
About once a day I have noticed a phantom incoming call with a caller ID of asterisk@192.168..<cut off>. When I answer the call there is a dial tone and the call is disconnected. Any clues?

The Phantom Call.. T1 card too
I've had the same thing happen, only on the single port T1 card and a
channel bank, and one of the FXO channels also having a phone attached
elsewhere...
I just wound up putting that channel in a different context and running
Exten => s,1,Hangup
(I'm just using the line for outbound dialing)

Phantom Rings
I'm having a major problem at one of my branch offices with "Phantom
Rings" on their asterisk-based phone system. The system was originally
built using 2 X100P cards and was recently upgraded to a Rhino R4FXO-EC
card. The upgrade severely increased the frequency of the phantom
rings. I've read everything I can find on-line about automatic testing
and noise on the line and

Phantom message using mixed namespaces
Hi, all.
At home, I have a mailbox where mbox is the default (for inbox and some
smaller mailboxes) and all my lists are in a Maildir format.
I'm building a mailstore server at work where I want to use Maildir as
the default mailstore, but I want to keep mbox on the side to aid in
archiving messages.
My configs are as follows for mail location and namespaces:

Phantom Calls
Hi all,
I have a client that is having problems with phantom calls. I have not
been able to see it happen myself, but they say when it happens, the
display on the phone (polycom 301's) says "Device" is calling, but when
they answer the phone, there is only silence and then they hang back up
and it sometimes rings again.
I've been trying to track this down for a couple of

Plans for BUG 2170 (phantom jobs in queue listing on Windows clients)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Due to the varied responses that we received with the 'phantom jobs
in the windows print queue listing' bug, I'm encouraging people
to test 3.0.11pre2 and let me know if you still see the bug after
ensuring that the $(lockdir)/printing/*tdb files have been removed.
Thanks.

Error when installing Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
I am running Ubuntu 11.04 with wine 1.3.20. I am trying to install the Phantom Menace. The menu pops up to install, and takes me to the setup. When the setup loads, an error pops up: Severe: get prof failed! The setup continues like normal, but then when actually installing the files, another error pops up: Severe: file set execute failed. The progress bar jumps straight to 100%, then about 8

Inbound traffic shaping issue with a phantom limit
Hello Everyone,
We have a standalone Debian Wheezy box for game/web/VoIP server. My problem
is that somehow the inbound traffic is limited to 4kbit/s to 8kbit/s by
default whereas it''s set to 3*full/10 with 9*full/10 ceiling. The interface
is set to 100Mbit/sec and it actually gives that performance with the
corresponding outbound traffic limits. Naturally when I stop shorewall this

DAHDI phantom pickup when ringing
Hi,
I've been experiencing trouble with my DAHDI channels for some time and have
finally decided to try and resolve the issue.
Essentially, the problem I am having is that when a call comes in, and my
DAHDI phones therefore ring, Asterisk thinks that one of the handsets has
picked up to answer the incoming call - whereas in actual fact it is still
on hook. The call then gets instantly

Polycom Phantom Ringing
I have a Polycom Soundpoint IP335.

There are no inbound routes set to the phones yet.

However, the phones are getting phantom rings.

What is the legitimacy of these calls?

Is there something I need to block to stop it?

I believe its people trying to hack the phones/phone system but I cannot find where I read that before.

Thanks,

5.2 driver for Marvell Yukon 88E8042 PCI-E Fast Ethernet controller
Hello,
I'm trying to install CentOS 5.2 on an HP 6730s notebook.
All's going well except for one little item -- the networking. Never
thought I'd have trouble with an Ethernet adapter, so I didn't even
check before buying this machine; it was cheap.
The adapter is a Marvell Yukon 88E8042 PCI-E Fast Ethernet controller. I
can't find a Linux driver for it except one that

CentOS and Marvell SAS/SATA drivers
Hello all,
I've been on a real roller coaster ride getting a large virtual host up
and running. One troublesome thing I've discovered (the hard way) is
that the drivers for Marvell SAS/SATA chips still have a few problems.
After Googling around quite a bit, I see a significant number of others
have had similar issues, especially evident in the Ubuntu forums but

Marvell Yukon 8056?
Greetings list-
I''ve got a server ''in the mail'' and I see now on the specsheet that it has Marvell Yukon 8056 NICs onboard. Since I cannot seem to find a HCL for Centos 5 or RHEL5 to help verify, I''d like to know if it works ''out of the box'' on CentOS 5.x or is there additional work to make it function (properly)?
My searching has revealed
