xen device mapping/translation
Hello, list. Yesterday I was pleased to see that Centos has released official images at the aws marketplace. Nice job. Today I started playing with the Centos 6.3 image ( https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/B00A6L6F9I, on which I plan to deploy a gluster cluster in production soon) and noticed a weird thing. EBS Volumes attached to sd<X> are translated to xvd<Y> at the OS level.

CentOS AMI's published to AWS
Greetings! Can someone please explain the process for publishing CentOS 7 AMI's to AWS? I see the "official" CentOS marketplace page here: https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/B00O7WM7QW However, if I select us-west-2 and launch based on the current AMI that was released on 2/26/2016, I see that it is CentOS 7.2.1511 at boot up. Do new AMI's get published on a particular

AWS Official AMI's with ENA Support
Hi, So whats the deal here guys? Is CentOS not going to start flagging the AMI's for AWS with the 'EnaSupport = True' on the latest images being created? Having this flag is the only way to take advantage of the newer m5 and c5 instance family types. Seems only `ami-02e98f78` supports ENA in 'US-EAST-1' to date and all since then do not. Would like someone to explain why

3d plot of earth with cut
Good to hear you've made such progress. Just a couple of comments: - You should use points3d() rather than rgl.points(). The latter is a low level function that may have unpleasant side effects, especially mixing it with other *3d() functions like persp3d(). - There are several ways to draw a flat surface to illustrate your data. Which one to use really depends on the form of data.

3d plot of earth with cut
Dear All, Thanks a lot for the useful help again. I manage to get it done up to a point where I think I just need to apply some smoothing/interpolation to get denser points, to make it nice. Basically, I started from Duncen's script to visualize and make the clipping along a plane at a slice. Then I map my data points' values to a color palette and just plot them as points on this plane.

Broken Pipe error while using UpdateConfig command
Hello List, I have been working on a little PHP software that uses AMI's UpdateConfig command in order to modify some of it's config files. I was working with 'Asterisk 1.4.22.1' and everything was working. After upgrading to 'Asterisk 1.4.23.1' I receive a lot of errors of the type: ERROR[11505]: utils.c:966 ast_carefulwrite: write() returned error: Broken pipe

Azure Centos Images
Hello, I was wondering if there is any plan to support an official image for the Microsoft Azure cloud platform? Currently there is a third party publisher "OpenLogic" providing an Centos image but I don't know who they are. Redhat is providing a RHEL 7.3 template and Canonical is providing Ubuntu. I see that a comprehensive set of AMI's are maintained for Amazon Web services.

PV AMI for CentOS 7
Is there any chance we could get a PV AMI for CentOS 7 to match the HVM version at https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/B00O7WM7QW/ref=srh_res_product_title?ie=UTF8&sr=0-2&qid=1442957668341 We have prepurchased reserved instances based on older PV machines (m1, c1, etc) It would be very very helpful to have a PV AMI so we could migrate to CentOS 7 on those image types.

CentOS 7 AMI on AWS GovCloud region
Hi, I'm working on building a cluster on AWS atop CentOS 7. For development, I've been working in the eu-west-1 (Ireland) region, where the AWS MarketPlace provides an official CentOS 7 AMI (ami-e4ff5c93). However, the production deployment is taking place in AWS's GovCloud region for regulatory reasons, and there, I couldn't find an official CentOS 7 AMI. Are there plans to
