Hi! I am quite a new user of R. I wanted to ask if there was some package for dynamic panel analysis (with Arneallo-Bond Method) like stata. PLM is for panel analysis but not for dynamic. Best regards, Tanveer

PJSIP Losing knowledge of external_media_address
I've seen this happen three times in the wild now.  I've been trying to isolate the source of the issue, but so far it seems like there's not enough debug output to know why this occurs. Long story short: - Start Asterisk - PJSIP Handles receiving INVITE from ITSP via WAN (Asterisk is behind NAT).  SIP is handled correctly, Asterisk responds OK with RTP media address of

rails 1.0 loses its symbol table randomly
Hi all, I''m running a site on Rails, and since I upgraded from 0.13 to 1.0, I''ve been seeing trouble with instances (via fastcgi) losing their symbol table. After some period of running (several hours), the instance will lose some section of its symbol table. What I mean by that is, I start seeing a bunch of exceptions like undefined constant: xxxxx where xxxxx is

Replication: long detalys
Hello everybody, I am running dovecot 2.1.7 on Debian Wheezy on two servers with replication set up, MTA is postfix. The idea is to have a redundant mail system so that when one server fails, users can continue using the other server (failover of POP/IMAP through DNS redirection). Servers are called srv06 and srv07: Below is the dovecot config, both servers have identical config, only the

Samba crashes and domain problems
Hi, I have inherited a Samba PDC running on SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 10.1 (the Samba version is 3.0.24-2.23-1296-SUSE-CODE10). The server has been giving problems for a few weeks including the following symptoms: 1. Users accessing a share are experiencing intermittent problems writing to the share (Excel tells them the file they are trying to write is read-only). 2. when I try to add a

syslinux 6.03 bug related to rev shadow and scroll bar with vshift
I thought I've found three bugs on syslinux 6.03: (1) With sample config file as is, i.e. leaving commented MENU VSHIFT and MENU COLOR UNSEL but uncommented MENU COLOR SEL: A black "border" is displayed below the selected line and on its right edge. (2) Uncommenting MENU COLOR UNSEL: This effect appears also on separators and on right edge on every unselected lines. (3)

Inconsistent search results and crash on force-resync
Hi, I am seeing inconsistencies in search results (finding 2 emails when only 1 exists, finding the email when it has been moved to another folder, etc). I figured I should run force-resync to fix any issues. I ran the following: doveadm -v force-resync -u <user> <mailbox> and I got some worrysome logs. - I should mention that I have been seeing some crashes of fts-lucene in my

Race condition when setting flags (\Deleted) + expunge quickly, leaving mails not deleted
Hello. I seem to have found a race condition, when setting flags on multiple emails rapidly. 5 commands including login to reproduce. Problem found using mutt in real world usage. Second DC won't start LDAP daemon
Hello. I've got a network of FreeBSD servers which traditionally hosted a classic domain. I upgraded some months ago, removing the old PDC and BDC and migrating to an AD DC controller in a jail. This is working fine with Samba 4.4.13. Now I'm trying to add a second DC, so I created a new jail on another physical server and went on with the setup, following: >

High CPU Load samba 4.1.12 possibly because of Notify Request problem
Hi List, I recently upgraded one of our high-volume SMB servers from samba 3.x to samba 4.1.12 (also changing the OS). Now I have a strange problem. The CPU load on the server is very high, processes that are causing it are nslcd or since I changed to it sssd and the smbd processes themselves. ? lost packets - Bond
Guys, good afternoon I'm using in my bond interfaces as active backup, in theory, should assume an interface (or work) only when another interface is down. But I'm just lost packets on the interface that is not being used and is generating packet loss on bond. What can that be? Follow my settings bond [root at xxxxx ~]# ifconfig bond0 ; ifconfig eth0 ; ifconfig eth1 bond0

CentOS 5.2 + SELinux + Apache/PHP + Postfix
Hi All, I'm running CentOS 5.2 with SELinux in enforcing mode (default targeted policy). The server hosts a PHP web app that sends mail. I'm getting the following errors (see end of message) in my selinux audit.log file every time the app sends an email. The email always seems to get sent successfully, despite the log messages. However, they do concern me and I would like to understand
