Dynamic DNS Updates not working. samba_dnsupdate : RuntimeError: (sambalist: to exclusive) kinit for [DC@Realm] failed (Cannot contact any KDC for requested realm)
Good morning!
First of all thanks Rowland for the fast answer yesterday! I realized that
samba-technical might have been the wrong mailing list and switched it to
the normal samba users list (hopefully it worked, as it does get a bit
confusing with spamgourmets sendto addresses!). Unfortunately the problem
with samba_dnsupdate remains after the changes.
I did changed the smb.conf, krb5.conf, and

Bind9 AD SDLZ driver failed to load
I installed Bind9 on a new ubuntu 13.04 server using
apt-get install bind9
and am trying to integrate AD into it. Bind starts fine and will resolve my
domain and computer names, but when I add the line
include "/usr/local/samba/private/named.conf"
into /etc/bind/named.conf, Bind9 fails to start. I have edited that file
to ensure the correct line is included for Bind 9.9, and I am not

CentOS 6.8 named won't start after upgrade
Ugh, I was upgrading the AD server running on a CentOS 6.8 which uses
named as its back-end. I have been running it for years with no
problems. Today after upgrading bind named will not start. I get this error:

Thank you for the answers Peter and Rowland and sorry to everybody for the
spam...switched to another e-mail address and hope my messages will arrive
only once from now on.
As I wrote in my first mail, Kerberos does work. I can successfully request
and list a ticket on the AC DC.

Bind_DLZ krb errors @ startup.
Hi,
I have 2 self compiled samba 4 DCs running 4.7.7 on Centos 7.5. One of them
is operating normally. On the other DC bind will not start. I turned up
debugging on dlz_bind as per
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/BIND9_DLZ_DNS_Back_End#Debugging_the_BIND9_DLZ_Module
When I try to start named I get the following in the logs:

bind9 dlopen/dlz problems
Hi,
I'm trying to replace my current samba4/bind setup with Tridge's new
DLZ bind method (s. http://blog.tridgell.net/?p=122).
Instructions about how to set this up seem a little rare right now,
and
I'm not even sure wether this is supposed to work at all in its
current
state (but I'll give it a try anyway :-)
What I found so far: In order to use the new dlopen DLZ you'll

Issues with bind9 dlz
Hi Rowland,
Thank you.
I think the 5 zones maybe a parsing issues somewhere. Also, the realms are
in capital, must have been a typo.
The UFW has been disabled and selinux is in a disbaled state
/etc/bind/named.conf.options has
options {
directory "/var/cache/bind";
// If there is a firewall between you and nameservers you want
// to talk to, you may need to
