SIP configuration in realtime static and realtime dynamic
Hi all,
I?m currently in the process of familiarizing myself with Asterisk, and am trying to move certain configuration objects (such as SIP peers) into a MySQL database, accessed by Asterisk using the ODBC connector.
Now, I?ve imported the sippeers MySQL table from the contrib directory of the Asterisk source, and I could add SIP users in here. However, I currently don?t understand whether this

1.6.2.7 SIP realtime problem
I'm getting the following message in my full log at startup and my
realtime sip peers aren't being found. My realtime extensions have no
errors. The table sippeers exists in the database. Is this a known
problem?
res_config_mysql.c: Table sippeers not found in database. This table
should exist if you're using realtime.

Asterisk Realtime and SIP configuration
Dear all
I'm writing to the list for help as a last resort. I've exhausted all
other options, so please forgive me. I've lurked here for years but
never actually posted.
I'm trying to get Asterisk Realtime SIP configuration working, but it
refuses to do so. I have all the necessary configuration in place,
Asterisk makes a connection to the database, which can be verified with

[Fwd: FW: extconfig.conf]
Hi Andrew,
OK, (the simple fact that those machines are not connected to internet
makes that i have to go to those machines and copy them on a usb-stick,
so it causes some delay each time...)
-------- Forwarded Message --------
Sorry - I meant extconfig.conf - not cdr_mysql.conf (my mistake).
I use (and done for a long time) mySQL for realtime storage - and it's
never let me down (touch

reloading realtime sip peers
Hello,
I noticed that changes to realtime sip peers are not applied until a
'reload'. A 'sip reload' does not make any changes to realtime sip peers.
When changing for instance the mailbox-parameter in the realtime
sip_buddies table, the change is not applied with a 'sip reload'.
For every change there is a complete 'reload' necessary.
Why does a 'sip

Unfortunately, with the same results.

Realtime Users/Peers/Friends - Ick
I've been going in circles for a few weeks now with Realtime SIP.
My extconfig.conf has:
sipusers => mysql,dbname,ast_sip_users
sippeers => mysql,dbname,ast_sip_users
When I do a 'sip show peers' I see all my phones. When I do a 'sip show users' I only see a few of them. I can't work out why this is the case. They are also coming up with NAT as

sip.conf & realtime
Hi -
I'm looking into realtime and I'm having a bit of a problem with the SIP
part.
My review of the posts seems to indicate that I should use realtime static
for the [general] part of my sip.conf including the registration commands:
register=><did>:<secret>@<domain>/<did context>
and use realtime realtime (funny name!) for peers and friends:

mysql sip realtime
Hi
I have some question about mysql realtime.
1) Anyone know exactly if there is a specific order to declare sip table
column for realtime ? In which file can I find that order ?
2) In my extconfig.conf, [settings] are :
sipusers => mysql,general,siptable
sippeers => mysql,general,siptable
so means that I use realtime dynamic exactly ?
Is it normal if some parameters from sip.conf still

Realtime table columns
I am a fairly novice Asterisk 1.4 user who used to use CallWeaver, based on
asterisk 1.2. I used Realtime MySQL with CallWeaver and am currently using
the very same MYSQL tables (and columns) with Asterisk 1.4.11 and things are
working well.
The questions I have are, since new configuration variables have been added
into Asterisk 1.4, can I simply add columns in my MySQL sippeers table for

Realtime config
Having problems getting realtime working, I'm trying to use odbc for all
of this. I've got Fedora 3 and have been fighting with odbc for a day
now. I think I got it working correctly, however I can't seem to get the
realtime portion working. In asterisk 'odbc show' shows it connected, I
see it on my (odbc) mysql server connected and all, it connects and just
idles. So, without

Realtime integration: Unregistered clients showing as registered?
Hello all,
I've been testing a Kamailio Asterisk Realtime integration, and found a
strange situation.
My problem is that when using the integration, everything seems ok but
Asterisk does not see the clients as registered. Kamailio and the clients
report registered clients. Also calls fail.
In Asterisk cli sip show peers shows nothing but for example realtime load
sipusers name 660 shows the
