similar to: Lots of problems playing back !

Hello. I'm running the swfdec-extract tool built from the 0.6.0 source tarball under gentoo and I'm finding that it's not able to rip the MP3s from the SWF file. I'm getting this: SWFDEC: ERROR: swfdec_codec_gst.c(269): swfdec_gst_decoder_init: failed to create decoder It manages to save the file as a WAV file, but I'd prefer the MP3 to get at the ID3 info in the file.

hello i tried both swfdec-0.6.6 and current git with full gstreamer install as well as with libmad. however, i get the below error message: swfdec_codec_audio.c(205): swfdec_audio_decoder_new: no suitable decoder for audio codec 2 i'm not shure if 'audio codec 2' means AC2? with gst-inspect, i find only one related tag: ffenc_ac3. what's missing here? dennis

Hi there, I am salsaman, main developer of LiVES (http://lives.sf.net), videojack, etc. I am looking into swfdec with a view to making it accessible to more projects (for example feeding the output into videojack to allow streaming over a local lan video network; mixing the swfdec output with other video sources/effects to allow vjing/capturing the stream, etc). Hi, I am continuing to try to debug my ogg/theora decoder. The issue seems to be that not enough packets are being pulled from the bitstream, here is some sample output from my player with some debugging comments put in: (playback began at first frame, this is from the middle of the clip) get page at 1765027 got packet frame++, skip is 0 frame decoded page processed, kframe=414 : offs=442 get

We're about ready to do a 1.2 alpha release from the ptalarbvorm tree, and as such it's no longer experimental. I've replaced the theora svn trunk with a copy of derf's experimental tree; please do subsequent development toward the release there.
