Dovecot 2.1 mbox + maildir
What syntax is needed to make this work? The 2.0 wiki recomendations don't work - I can see the inboxes or the folders but not both at once and there are lots of error messages about prefix clashes if I simply use the existing 2.0.20 conf file on 2.1.6 The layout I have is: Inboxes in mbox format - /var/spool/mail/%u Folders in maildir format - /var/spool/imap/%u/Maildir/ Control and

Secure VNC access from iPad
Dear Gurus If any of you have been successful in using an iPad as a VNC client with SSH tunnelling, I'd love to know how it's done. I have tried using the iSSH application, but without success. I know that the server is accessible from a Windows client (using TigerVNC), via an SSH tunnel, so the server is properly configured. If you have a working example, please let me know what

How to number extensions - Which way is best?
If this topic has been discussed already, please point me to it. I have looked, and I don't see any discussion in the past couple of months or in the wiki. When setting up your inside extensions, it can be helpful to choose the numbering carefully. Ideally, you would like it to not conflict with the dialing of an outside number. For example, the extension... 1212 Is very similar to

upside down image/data
Dear R-community, I am looking for some simple advice - I have a matrix (therefore 2 dimensional) of global temperature. Having read R-help I think that when I ask R to image() or levelplot() my matrix will it actually appear upside down - I think I therefore need to use the line: > levelplot(temperature.matrix[,ncol(output.temp):1], ........) to get it looking like it was on the globe due

Dear R-help community, I need to find out how to make the black axis line around my plot thicker in levelplot, I cannot find the correct command in ?levelplot or ?par - or if it is there I cannot get it to work - any help would be more that appreciated! Here's an example script - I would want the code for making the axis bordering the plot thicker: x<- seq(pi/4, 5*pi,length=100)

Grandstream HT 503 Outoing 403 Forbidden
I am trying to get Asterisk 1.6.2.5 working with a Grandstream HT-503 ATA. The FXO part is giving me fits. Every call I try to make to the FXO port outbound I get 403 Forbidden coming back. I've been through every configuration setting I can see, and Uncle Google is not helping me much. I updated the firmware to the current version, and that didn't help. If anyone has this working, I

loop is going to take 26 hours - needs to be quicker!
Dear R-help, I have a loop, which is set to take about 26 hours to run at the rate it's going - this is ridiculous and I really need your help to find a more efficient way of loading up my array gpcc.array: #My data is stored in a table format with all the data in one long column #running though every longitute, for every latitude, for every year. #5209 patch: :dependent => :nullify deletes child records
Hi everyone, A couple of weeks ago I noticed a bug with :dependent => :nullify on a has_many or has_one. When you delete the parent, the children''s foreign keys are nullified, as expected. But when you do parent.child.delete or parent.children.clear, ActiveRecord actually deletes the child records, rather than just nullifying them. In my eyes, if you''ve set

Printing in Wine 20050725
I have just reinstalled wine on my Debian Sid (unstable) system after several years without it, in order to run a handful of Windows applications: IE, Lotus Notes, ... I use CUPS to support printing under Linux, and several years ago had no real problems printing from Windows applications running under Wine. However, I am now unable to print from any of them using Wine release 20050725. When I

Serial connections?
Does anybody know if there is any support to read from serial ports? I just got an arduino, and wanted to write some scripts for working with real time streaming sensor data... In base::connections documentation, it's not clear if there's an easy way to do this? Any ideas on hacking it? I'm open to win/linux/mac solutions. I'm not sure how sockets work, but possibly there is a

how do you interpolate a gaussian grid to a standard 2.5 degree grid?
Dear R-help community, I have looked on the R search site and archives but cannot find mention of a way of interpolating a gaussian distribution of data to a standard 2.5 degree grid. I have two global dataset and I need to correlate - unfortunately one is a 2.5 degree grid dim[longitude=144,latitude=72] and one is gaussian dim[longitude=192,latitude=94]. I would rally appreciate hearing

[LLVMdev] Building libLLVMSupport library - special tricks?
Duncan, Yes, I'd been pretty much performing the same diagnosis in parallel - it seems we just don't have that libLLVMSupport library built. Last night, tried the build of clang a few different ways to get that library built - including specifying the --gcc-toolchain option. No Joy! Which of the clang/llvm source trees provides it? or is it in another source package? tools? Is there a
