[RFC PATCH 0/2] GLOBAL() macro for asm code.
Hello, This series has been split into two patches, one for arm and one for x86. I figured that this was easier than doing it as a single combined patch, especially as the changes are functionally independent. x86 has been boot tested, but arm has not even been compile tested as I lack a suitable cross compiler. However, the changes are just text replacement, so I dont expect any issues. The

[PATCH] xen/arm: Don't set the ACTLR SMP bit for 64 bit guests
The ACTLR register is implementation defined. The SMP bit is CA15 and CA7 specific. Also replace ACTLR_CA15_SMP by ACTLR_V7_SMP. [PATCH v8 8/5] Add UART support and arch timer initialization for OMAP5
Since OMAP UART has a few distinct features than common 8250 UART, I re-implemented its driver rather than porting it based on ns16550.c. There are mainly two big differences between the implementations. First, OMAP UART introduces the concept of register access mode, which divides the register map into seperated space. Switching the access mode is then necessary when configuring it. Second, THRE

[PATCH] xen/arm: Add CPU ID for Broadcom Brahma-B15
From: Marc Carino <marc.ceeeee@gmail.com> Let Xen recognize the Broadcom Brahma-B15 CPU by adding the appropriate MIDR mask to the initialization phase. Further, ensure that the console output properly reports the CPU manufacturer as "Broadcom Corporation". [PATCH 0/4] ARM/early-printk: Improve reusability and add Calxeda support
The current early-printk support for ARM is rather hard-coded, making it hard to add machines or tweak settings. This series slightly moves some code to gather UART settings in xen/arch/arm/Rules.mk instead of the actual .c files. Also it allows two different machines with different settings to share the same driver, which the last patch exploits to add support the Calxeda Midway hardware. This

[PATCH 00/45] initial arm v8 (64-bit) support
First off, Apologies for the massive patch series... This series boots a 32-bit dom0 kernel to a command prompt on an ARMv8 (AArch64) model. The kernel is the same one as I am currently using with the 32 bit hypervisor I haven''t yet tried starting a guest or anything super advanced like that ;-). Also there is not real support for 64-bit domains at all, although in one or two places I

[PATCH v3 00/46] initial arm v8 (64-bit) support
This round implements all of the review comments from V2 and all patches are now acked. Unless there are any objections I intend to apply later this morning. Ian.

Data Abort while in booting when using Julien's new patches on Arndale Board
Hello, I am trying to boot Arndale board with Julien''s new XenARM patch series. But I have got "Data Abort" while in booting. My environment is: - Arndale Board - Xen-4.3-unstable from branch "arm" in git://xenbits.xen.org/people/julieng/xen-unstable.git - Dom0 Kernel from branch "dev-arndale-dom0-3.9" in

Help on getting serial output on the arndale board
Hi, Now that the Arndale board is supported in upstream Xen I don''t get any output on the serial console. I followed the instructions on the wiki with no luck: The xen repository I''m using is: git://xenbits.xen.org/xen.git last commit: 61c6dfce3296da2643c4c4f90eaab6fa3c1cf8b3 The linux repository is: git://xenbits.xen.org/people/julieng/linux-arm.git last commit:

[PATCH] libxl: fix compile error of libvirt
a, libxl_event.h is included in libxl.h. So, the former one also need to be installed. b, define __XEN_TOOLS__ in libxl.h: the head file "xen/sysctl.h" need check this macro. [PATCH RFC 0/8] xen/arm: initial cubieboard2 support.
See http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/xen/devel/297170 for some information on how to get this going. I''ve rebased and addressed the review comments. As before several of the patches are not to be applied because they can be done better using infrastructure from Julien''s "Allow Xen to boot with a raw Device Tree" patch. They are included for completeness. With

About arm32 address translation
Hi Ian, I am trying to add supporting dumping 32-bit guest on arm32 to see what happened in my dom0 kernel when booting. It seems gvirt_to_maddr() is not workable under arm32. But why has it been implemented both in include/asm-arm/arm{32,64}/page.h? Thanks. See http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/xen/devel/297170 for some information on how to get this going. I''ve rebased and addressed the review comments. With this rebase I''ve picked up some patches from Julien which were required to do things properly, so the gic v7 and device blacklisting patches have been changed to use the proper mechanisms. Previously I was able to boot

[PATCH v2 0/2] Implement VFP context switch for arm32
Hello, This is the second version of this patch series. I only implement the VPF context switch support for arm32 and add dummy function to avoid compilation on arm64. I have switched the order of the patch because the old second one can be applied alone and the patch are cleaner :). For all the changes see each patch. Cheers, Julien Grall (2): xen/arm: don''t enable VFP on XEN

Can not boot Dom0 when using Anthony's new XenARM source for Arndale.
Hi Xen Developers, I had tested new XenARM for Arndale board that is updated in Anthony''s tree from 2 days ago. I expected that will be working. But, I can not boot Dom0 Kernel. I used kernel and XenARM both are from Xen Wiki(http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Xen_ARM_with_Virtualization_Extensions/Arndale). It (seems) stopped after "(XEN) Freed 212kB init memory" message. When I
