Passdb + single sing on + NTLM + Thunderbird.
Hi!,
I want to use single sign on from Windows with Thunderbird or Outlook using
NTLM.
Which should be placed in the configuration file for passdb?.
Currently I have:
passdb {
driver = pam
}
But it generates the following error when trying to check mail:
dovecot: auth: pam (pepe, 190 108 101 120): unknown user
If I remove imap passdb just does not work and I add at the end of this
mail the

Doubt the relationship between NTLM and Kerberos.
Could someone explain to me what role does the Authenticating Kerberos NTLM
in Authenticating NTLM explained in
http://wiki.dovecot.org/HowTo/ActiveDirectoryNtlm ?
Not understand that relationship between NTLM and Kerberos?.
I have to configure thunderbird with simple password method and leave the
password to be blank or have to use the gssapi?
Although gssapi not supported by windows right?

The URL on the wiki, which had probably been shared before with you;
http://wiki2.dovecot.org/HowTo/ActiveDirectoryNtlm
suggests it does.

Need to authenticate Outlook and NTLM
I've posted questions on this before, but now I really, really need a solution.
Using Dovecot 2.2.33.2
We've been using Dovecot as IMAP server for several years on a Linux host which is also the
Active Directory / Domain Controller. We have both Thunderbird and Outlook clients. The
Thunderbird clients authenticate w/o problem with AD credentials using Kerberos/GSSAPI.
I've never

Authentication with AD and quick mbox question
Hi,
I'm attempting to implement Dovecot 2.1.3 built on a FreeBSD 8.2 64
bit system from ports.
I had the servicve up and running on a local vbox demo which did a
very simple Maildir format sytem which was situated in ~/Maildir.
I would now like to expand the system and tie it to a Windows domain.
What is the best way to go about doing this?
Can Dovecot be directly tied in or do I need to

POP +OK CR LF Question
HI. I just finished installing a new mail server running CentOS Ver 4. and
I am running sendmail with devecot 0.99.11.
Everything is working fine except for a customer of mine is using a tool
that does pop requests. And his tool
is failing waiting on a CR LF in the +OK. I did a small hex dump of my old
pop and the dovecot pop and
he is right. Docevot POP does not end its +OK with a CR LF. I

RC10 errors
I just installed a limited test of RC10 last night. So far, all is great
except for errors being logged for one user (out of about 150 users total).
This one user has not yet complained or anything, but the log file has
repeated
entries of the following format for him (host and username changed to protect
the guilty/innocent):

How to "Windows Authenticate"
I am running Dovecot 2.2.15 on Linux Slackware 14.1 and Samba 4.1.17 as the
Active Directory/Domain Controller on the same host as Dovecot.
Sendmail/procmail delivers mail to users' $HOME/Maildir. MS Outlook/IMAP is the
client MTU used to connect with Dovecot to read mail on the Users' WIN7
workstations.
I believe I have confirmed that MS Outlook will either ...

How to "Windows Authenticate"
If I had time I would be all over this - but IMHO the main problem is that
Dovecot != Exchange.? Even in small environments - unless I'm out of date,
there's no calendar, tasks or contact lists within Dovecot.
Your next best best is to use something like Horde that would allow you to
auth via ActiveSync (on Outlook 2013 clients) and manage everything else
that the users will want, with

Nope, it's just as broken (if not more so) than the ELF writer, don't
worry about breaking it. If you wanted to #if 0 it out, that would
also be fine with me.

[LLVMdev] sing segmented stack feature
Hello,
I want to use the segmented stack feature but I did not found much
documentation for it.
I hope you could answer my questions:
1.) can I use the segmented stacks with clang?
2.) what are the requirements? GCC requires for its split stack the GOLD
linker and GCC compiled with split stack support.
3.) is a HOWTO available demonstrating the usage of segmented stacks (which
functions have to
