help pages base R not rendered correctly?
Hi Duncan,
that explains, thank you. If nobody finds the time to fix that, I might
give it a shot myself this summer. Barbeque is overrated.
Cheers

help pages base R not rendered correctly?
Hi all,
Don't know if this is a known issue, but I couldn't find anything so I
report anyway. When checking eg ?qr in both RStudio and the naked R IDE,
the help page is rendered incorrectly. More specifically, any use of
\bold{...} is printed as is, rather than interpreted as bold. Same happens
on ?svd.
According to the manual Writing R Extensions, this should still be
recognized. When I

Clustering "NEW THREAD", Almost Working
All,
I made some progress, but it seems the further I go with clustering the
harder things get. Hmmm, I guess if it were easy, it would be
documented......
Anyhow, I have 1 * server as the DUNDi peering master with a ttl=1. The
only function of this server is to lookup where other sip peers are
registered and forward that info on to the requesting * server.
I have 4 * servers accepting

legend -- one more try
Dermot MacSweeney pointed out to me that after my "fix" of legend(),
points were no longer coming out placed in the middle of the lines, but at
the right-hand edge. It turns out that naively swapping the order of
point-drawing and line-drawing also messes up the bookkeeping that
legend() does on the current x-location. Here's my patch, which fixes
that bookkeeping (and incidentally

"trace" argument in legend() (PR#2578)
Full_Name: Jerome Asselin
Version: 1.6.2
OS: RedHat Linux 7.2
Submission from: (NULL) (142.103.173.179)
Should be an easy fix...
Consider the examble below:
plot(0,0)
legend(0,0,c("Hello!","Hi!"),pch=1:2,lty=1:2,trace=T)
It gives the following trace:

> legend(0,0,c("Hello!","Hi!"),pch=1:2,lty=1:2,trace=T)

legend() patch never seems to have made it in
Perhaps I should have submitted this as a bug so that it would be
officially tracked. It's not a big deal, but here it is again (I can't
remember which version this patch is against, but I don't think legend()
has changed since then ...)
Basically, the problem is that if you want to have "opaque" points that
overlay lines (rather than using type="b" and having

Xapi packages in CentOS xen-c6 repo: first steps
Hi list,
Dave Scott has been working on a prototype of XenServer's Xapi running
on stock CentOS 6.4 x86_64, with libvirt and ceph integration. He plans
to demo this at the CentOS dojo in Aldershot next week.
We'll be publishing the RPMs for this in a public Yum repo, and we would
really like for these RPMs to eventually live in the xen-c6 repo. I was
wondering what are the steps for

colorbar legend for image()
Hi,
are there any plans to add a colorbar legend to image()?
Or such a possibility already implemented which I just haven't
discovered yet. Anyway, I will be willing to spent some time on the
implementation if there isn't anyone working on that already.
Thanks
Thomas

Rails and Dojo
Anyone have any positive or negative experiences trying to get Dojo to
play nicely with Rails / Prototype / Scriptaculous?
Would people recommend it? Recommend against it? Why?
Thanks,

rails and dojo
Hi all, I am currently expereimenting with integrating dojo into a rails
app. It''s easy for anything related to DOM manipulation. But I couldn''t
find out how to use dojo.io.bind for ajax form submission. Dojo must be
serializing differently than prototype. Has anybody expereince with that ?
Maybe JSON-ize the form ?

CentOS Dojo at Brussels, Jan 30th 2015
hi,
The next CentOS Dojo is taking place in Brussels, the day before FOSDEM.
And we have a great session lined up :
http://wiki.centos.org/Events/Dojo/Brussels2015
There are a final 10 tickets up for grabs now, so get in there quickly
if you are planning on attending.
Note that this Dojo changes from the typical Dojo formats in that this
one is entirely driven by interactive and demo sessions,
