TEXTFIELD_ENTER_ONLY doesn''t work
Hi Lyle,
I noticed that when creating a FXTextField with TEXTFIELD_ENTER_ONLY it
still sends messages
to its target when other keys than KEY_Return are pressed.
I usually create a textfield this way:
textfield = FXTextField.new(self, 50, self, ID_INPUT, TEXTFIELD_ENTER_ONLY)
textfield.setText(aStr)
textfield.setFocus
textfield.move(x, y, w, h)
textfield.show
This way only the enter key should

[ANNOUNCE] xorg-server 1.19.7
This is a maintenance release for X.Org X Server 1.19 series.
My personal motivation for this release is to fix EXA 24 bpp crash
bug that affects SiS 6326 based graphics card, but there are other
small fixes of the code contributed by other people.
If your OS distribution uses X Server 1.19, please contact the vendor
to let them know that upgraded code is now available.

udev on CEntOS7 - can't get a match, looking for tips...
The mtx binary requires my tape library to be assigned a sg# driver, but
the kernel periodically renumbers the sg devices. Normally, we would
write a udev rule to manually assign a persistent name, but it looks
like things have changed as I can't seem to get a match on CEntOS7. I'd
appreciate any feedback or pointers to help me get my rule working. My
two attempts are below.

replacing rows data.frame
I create a data.frame using :
alloc <- data.frame(matrix(nrow=length(unique(mid2agi$gene)), ncol=8))
colnames(alloc) <- c('agi', 'hit_len', 'q_len', 'identity', 'ratio', 'e',
'ok' ,'gene')
alloc$gene <- unique(mid2agi$gene)
this results in:
> head(alloc)
agi hit_len q_len identity ratio e ok gene

Cdrom on Linux domU PV
I tried to use cdrom in domU linux pv (Linux Mint 11 based on Natty).
With ''/mnt/vm/iso/test.iso,raw,xvdb,ro,cdrom'', Mint sees it as internal disk
(not cdrom) and only administrators can mount it.
I tried also ''/dev/scd0,raw,xvdb,ro,cdrom'' does the same thing.
Is possible use cdrom on linux domU pv full working where also normal user
can mount it without

[PATCH RFC V2 4/4] tools: virtio: add a top-like utility for displaying vhost satistics
This patch adds simple python to display vhost satistics of vhost, the codes
were based on kvm_stat script from qemu. As work function has been recored,
filters could be used to distinguish which kinds of work are being executed or
queued:
vhost statistics
vhost_virtio_update_used_idx 1215215 0
vhost_virtio_get_vq_desc 1215215 0

KDE and mounting CD's / DVD's without noexec
Hi e,
I am normally use gnome and would do the following to make my CD / DVD
mount with exec
gnome-mount --write-settings --device /dev/sdc0 -o exec
What is the equivalent in KDE ? My initial research suggests that I
actually have to write a custom udev rule to achieve this.
This has led me as far as running
udevinfo -q path -n /dev/scd0
udevtest /block/sr0 (the output is below)

Anyone using CentOS 6 on PC104 stacks?
Is anyone using CentOS 6 on PC104 stacks?
I have tried a couple of different CPU cards with CentOS 6.5 [no updates]. I can install with the Install DVD to the PATA hard drive just fine, but they each hang up while the installed system is trying to get UDEV going. And by "hang up" I mean a) leave the machine setting for hours and it never gets udev started, AND b) the keyboard has gone

ask for help on nonlinear fitting
I have a table like the following. I want to fit Cm to Vm like this:
Cm ~ Cl+Q1*b1*38.67*exp(-b1*(Vm-Vp1)*0.03867)/(1+exp(-b1*(Vm-Vp1)*0.03867))^2+Q2*b2*38.67*exp(-b2*(Vm-Vp2)*0.03867)/(1+exp(-b2*(Vm-Vp2)*0.03867))^2
I use nls, with start=list(Q1=2e-3, b1=1, Vp1=-25, Q2=3e-3, b2=1,
Vp2=200). But I always get 'singlular gradient' error like this. But
in SigmaPlot I can get the result. How

Xorcom Astribank udev issue in Ubuntu 9.10
Hi,
I have upgraded an Asterisk installation with a Xorcom BRI Astribank
that was working under Ubuntu 8.04 to Ubuntu 9.10 and the device is no
longer initialized.
When I reload the udev rules, I see that the rules seems to be correctly
loaded:
udevd[452]: reading '/etc/udev/rules.d/40-xpp.rules' as rules file
However, these rules do not seem to be triggered:
# udevadm trigger

barplot: invalid 'xlim' value
Forum,
I am attempting to plot weekly horizontal histograms, something very similar
to:
http://addictedtor.free.fr/graphiques/RGraphGallery.php?graph=109
The part of the code used to create this graphic that interest me:
# Draw the histograms
for (i in 1:length(ages)){
par(new = TRUE)
xmin <- -ages[i] + xlim[1]
xmax <- xlim[2] - ages[i]
