Matrices complejas
Saludos compañeros/as.

Fileserver and access groups
Hi! I have Samba AD DC and Samba fileserver (hereafter-FS) as domain member. I need to organize access to the specific shares on FS for a groups of specific domain users. Where should I make the domain user groups - on DC, on FS or on both? Does the FS need any local Samba users at all? What if domain users' homes are located on FS? Janis

Client with tinc
Hi! They have in my university a Cisco VPN solution. Unfortunatelly, if you are cuban, irakian, iranian or a couple of other nationalities, you are not able to use it (sic...). I would like to study the possibility to install tinc as client. I've read that "There is no real distinction between a server and a client in tinc". Would tinc work as a client with the Cisco VPN? Plot of a subset of a data.frame()
Hello, my data.frame is sort of a collection of process values, i.e. huge run-chart. It consists of a time-stamp in the first column (date as string), factors in the following columns (used for subset-filtering), and some process-data columns. Hereafter, two examples are listed, showing the problems that occour during print: At first the example, that works fine:

I''ve pretty much followed the tutorial exactly except I am using rails 3.1.0 rather than 3.0.1 and some of the other gem versions are different. I

Basic database question
Hi there Yes, I know very little of ruby. I must take a crash course? Probabily. Anyway, I try to ask this here. I have a control: customer_controller. From here, I can do something like: @id = 1 @customer = Customer.find(id) Now @customer will contain all the fetched record for customer with id = 1. Great. From this controller I will render an html page. Somewhere the view will print test.

I have a question model / object which consists of a question, answers, and
